Hi ladies!!! Congrats to all of you that have jumped finally in to this stage . The reason why I am here reaching out to every single one of you is because my doctor told me I will be using Crinone , I have been calling pharmacies and it's so expensive to pay out of pocket and I was wondering if anyone has any left over you would like to donate , matter of fact there is a donation group call OOP meds you can google it the lady in charge is Mindy and if you find the group it tell you how you can mail medication to people that need it. https://oopmedsprogram.blogspot.com/p/guide-to-shipping-medicine.html#.UvTjjH-9KSM

    I've used Crinone in the past and yes, it is really expensive.  Does your doctor have any samples?  Also, have you asked about using something less expensive, like prometrium?  I actually found that it was cheaper and I liked it better.

    I feel your pain - I was on crinone from a week after my ET through 13 weeks of pregnancy..... I don't have anything to donate, but good luck to you.

    My docor orginally put me on Prometrium (sp) due to the expense of the crinone, but I didn't like the mess. My insurance covered the crinone so I asked to switch. He said they did the same thing so he was okay with that. I agree with the PP that you should ask about prometrium. GL.


    After 4 years, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs our surprise miracle is here!

    I was going to say the same thing, a lot of REs offices have samples received either from pharmaceutical reps and ones donated back from others patients, I also pay OOP for it and it's so expensive :(

    Thank you ladies for your response , I singed up for a wish list , I really hope they can find me a match soon. I did ask the nurse and she said the strongly recommend Crinone , matter of fact they used to use POI but they found out that Crinone did the job better for them , and 2 years ago when I had to use POI and Crinone in one single cycle that turned into a quimical :( I had left over Crinone but I checked and it's expired :( 8 boxes expired!!! That is such a waste of money , I'm so mad about it

    How expired are your boxes? Some meds can be used past their expiration. (Do NOT apply this to all meds and also not without talking to your doc or nurse!!!)

    Call your RE's nurse and talk to her about the expiration dates and see if you can still use the Crinone that you have.
