Snow boots are getting harder and harder to put on!

Ok, I'm so ready for spring and slip on shoes!  It's such a pain to just take the dog on a walk.  I am so tired of bundling up and trudging through the snow.  I dream about wearing flip flops again!   Snow boots are getting really uncomfortable to put on and take off so many times a day!  I'm so jealous of you ladies that live in warm weather climates!!  

Just got back in from my walk, that's why I am all worked up!  : )

    I couldn't agree more! I miss being able to slip my flats on. We still have about 6 inches of snow & I dread having to go out anywhere!

    I so agree. I'm tired of the boots, bundling up, walking like a duck so I don't slip on ice and trying to manuver through snowy terrain every day. I love that we're having babies in spring when the weather gets nice, but I hate being pregnant in the winter. I can't believe I could say that I liked being pregnant during one of our hottest summers better!

    BFP#1 - 11/27/09 EDD 8/5/10, DS1 arrived 7/24/10 via emergency c-section.

    BFP#2 - 6/18/12 EDD 2/23/13, sweet baby girl born sleeping on 10/4/12 at 19 weeks, 3 days.

    BFP #3 - 1/18/13 EDD 10/1/13, natural mc on 2/2/13 at 5 weeks, 4 days.

    BFP #4 - 8/29/13 EDD 5/12/14, our sweet rainbow, DS2 born 4/29/14 via c-section

    I was just thinking this yesterday as I attempted to change from my cute, indoor shoes to my clunky, huge, outdoor boots. Did I mentioned that I was trying to change footwear while sitting in the driver's seat of my car? I was also 10 minutes late and had just hit my head trying to get into the car. Oh, and I had also just smeared road salt down the side of my pants leg from carrying my boots to the car. 

    So over boots.

    +1,000,000!!!!  I am SICK of this stupid friggin winter!!!!  I can't put my snow boots on without getting winded, and I keep taking the subway to work instead of walking, so (1) I'm not getting as much fresh air as I'd like, (2) I'm not getting as much walking exercise as I'd like which is usually 1.2 miles per day, and (3) I keep having climb a sh*tload of stairs and my thighs hurt!!!  Also, as of this week I can BARELY zip my long down coat, and can only do so with my pockets open which I'm using as sort of extension material for my coat, hahahahahaha.  SPRING GET HERE SOON PLEASE!!!!!

    Boots and regular shoes. I huff and puff every time I have to lace up my sneakers. I've been rocking Crocs to work because my belly is in my way. My husband tries to help and tie my shoes - but ends up tying them too tight or one too tight then I have to redo it.

    @giggler25 - My long, down coat is getting tight too!  That's too funny about unzipping the pockets!  I know exactly what you're talking about!  I didn't buy too many maternity winter sweaters/clothes so I feel like I'm wearing the same things over and over!  Spring/summer clothes are so much cuter, I can't wait until it gets here!!  Glad I'm not having my shower until April, it may finally be a little warmer by then!  Going to a friend's 40th bday party tonight and I was trying to find a cute shirt to wear and everything that is cute is too cold!!  Urggg!

    I don't own any snow boots...I've been rocking out crocs the whole time.  More reasons to make DH walk the dog

    My husband has been nice enough to help me out when he sees me struggling to get my shoes on...I can't wait for slip on show weather...

    Yes!! Ahh I'm getting so tired of pulling boots on. Also socks, I can't wait for spring time when I don't hve to wear socks all the time!

    Same. I have to kind of pull them on from the side and it hurts my hips even more than usual!

    I can totally feel your pain -- DH and I had tickets to the NYC Ballet last night and I couldn't find anything to wear that was warm enough but didn't have me looking like a snowman or a shlump.  I finally settled on a sweater dress with black leggings underneath, but I do admit there was a little bit of a meltdown about how DH looked so handsome in his suit (w/o tie) and I looked like a hobo.
