Red cheeks and chin

My daughter is 2.5 months old and today I noticed her cheeks are red along with her chin.... has anyone had this issue or could tell my why or what could cause this?

Re: Red cheeks and chin

  • I just posted that this happens after my LO nurses. I guess it's pretty normal.

  • Mine has rosy cheeks out of nowhere the past week or so! It's also coinciding with a cough, so I wonder if the effort of coughing broke some capillaries in his face. Maybe it's just normal?

  • Is she starting to drool? Is the air dry from heating? If there are no other cold symptoms, it's probably just chapped, irritated skin. I use CJs BUTTer on my LO's face, or something like aquaphor would be soothing and moisturizing.
