I've got the cold from hell

Sore throat, low grade fever, congestion, headache etc. DD has a double ear infection and has literally been like stink on shit with me all day. I've gone from the couch, to the bed to the couch.

Oh, I'm also dehydrated. It took me all day to drink half a glass of water.

I've had a horrible cold since Wednesday and I swear every day it just gets worse, docs said I could take mucinex, acetominophen, and Benadryl, but none of them are helping. I am miserable. Headache, low grade fever, sore throat, worst congestion ever. I would be fine I think if I could sleep, but nope, way too uncomfortable. Uggghhhh.

My doctor has approved plain sudafed. It seems to be the only thing that helps my cold symptoms. I'm sorry you're not feeling well

Ugh same here, I had a business trip that involved three airplane trips in one day and BOOM! Worts congestion ever, tired, and a couch on now day three. Hoping that with the cough it is passing, as I actually slept fairly well last night ad the congestion is getting better.

Having just gotten over an ear infection and bronchitis with a cough that damaged the cartilage in my ribs I can definitely commiserate. I hope you feel better soon.

Feel better soon! I woke up this morning with a stuffy nose, headache, and sore throat. DS was sick last week and now DH is complaining of a stuffy nose. We all know the man cold is so much worse, so I'm not looking forward to this.
