I should have a three year old today

Today is the three year mark of my EDD. I'm at an odd peace yet sad place. It is hard to discribe.

A teacher brought me a cupcake today. She said I looked like I needed it. It made me smile. It was like she knew.

I'm not sure what I'm looking for here. Just wanted to share a bittersweet moment.

I don't know your whole backstory, but hugs. I get it. Your co-worker sounds like a nice lady.

If my first pregnancy had been viable I would also be celebrating a 3 YO's birthday this week. (EDD 2.9.2011)

MW - I had no idea you're family suffered a loss. I'm sure that baby is still much loved and missed! Sending positive thoughts your way for something I can only imagine is very difficult to think about.
