Cloth Diapering

I am no fun

I finally got to go to the new CD store that I got the gift card to, and all I got was wool dryer balls and some stripper. I thought that I might try out a fitted, but they didn't have any nice ON type fitteds, just the plain workhouse type ( I think they were Osocozy?) I just couldn't bring myself to spend $10 for what is essentially a prefold.

They had a fairly decent selection: Best Bottoms, Rumparooz, Grovia, Thirsties, BumGenius, Blueberry, Happy Heinys, Osocozy, Econobum, plus a few more I don't remember.
I am just too cheap to buy something brand new that wasn't on sale super cheap.

  • You wind 100% wool into a ball. Tie it into a pair of panty hose. Wash on hot, and dry on high to felt them.

This. Can't take you guys anywhere.

I used wool yarn to make a few for my sister for Christmas. It's mashes then pretty heavy (and loud). I read you can use old wool sweaters or roving for lighter balls...hehe.

How do you make dryer balls?

Just pat them gently with a towel.

(Sorry, it was the nature of this thread)
    Omg, thanks for the laugh!

LLOL! This reminds me of the time DH admitted he didn't know how to apply powder for chafing, so he just squeezed the bottle to make it puff a cloud into the air about junk-high and ran through it.

I think this is the first time that I have actually LLOL.

Just don't let your balls fall out of the pantyhose. It's a dead giveaway.
