fuck it friday

Its been a long couple days,

Ive had a head ace for three days that is starting to borderline into migrain, ds has been boycotting naps and waking up a couple times a night needing bottles and snuggles.

And if one more of my childless friends tells me how tired after a night of partying im going to punch them in the face

Re: fuck it friday

  • I hate those headaches.  I had one for 3 weeks not long ago.  I think it's called stress.  Fuck stress.  I'm tired of it.  Oh, and snow.  I'm tired of that, too.

  • I agree on the snow thing. My sanctimommy facebook friend was all butt hurt and whinning acouple days ago that they got a quarter of an inch of snow in texas.

    This was me.

DD's school is having this "Prince and Princess Ball" tonight where the kids dress up in their best clothes and have a formal dance. Found out today that the parents are supposed to dress up to. I am not a "dress up" kind of girk. I've been resisting buying clothes because I'm trying to lose weight...but I spent my lunch break trying to find a dress that didn't look hideous on me and didn't cost an arm and a leg.

Found one. But shoes are another story. I have sneakers, and I have a pair of boots that in no way would have gone with the dress. I also have very odd sized feet (10 1/2 wide width). After trying on about 20 pairs of dressy shoes...fuck it, I'm wearing a pair of black flats.

  • I can't remember the last time I wore a dress.  I think it was about 15 years ago. lol

My cousin in Atlanta was trying to justify the city shut down with the 2" of snow. I took a picture of me next to the mountain of snow next to my car with the caption "grow a pair."

I would put on a bowtie and top hat and tell the school that "this was the best I could do."

Haha. I actually was contemplating not even bothering but then I heard from the mom of one of DD's best friends that she's dressing up and I don't want DD to look at me all frumpy in jeans and an oversized sweater and wonder "Gee, why didn't my mom dress up too??"

Truth. I love it. I'm sure I was reading too much into this (and overcompensating for her dad not being here).

  • There is always the option of dress slacks and a nice shirt. Its the best of both worlds. One of my cousins whom im really close with is. Huge tom boy who is really unconfortable in dresses. She always wears slacks and a nice botton up top when she has to go to a dress up function.

I understand over compensating cause dad isnt there for this. Hugs for you both

Me dressed up is: clean (like fresh out of the dryer) jeans, a shirt that doesn't have any graphics or text, and my knee-high combat boots (mostly hidden by the pant legs, but what shows is relatively ok for dressy functions).

This. This is EXACTLY my idea of "dressed up"!

  • Guys my name change went through! Its me LAMuehlen.

And i guess wanting to do cosmetology changed my perceptive of dressed up. I love maxi skirts i think they are super comfy and i love heels. But you know there was a time where dressed up meant not covered in whatever nasty from where i worked.

  • I have another bitch. I actually need to clean. But god forbid i put ds down without hysterics. This is ridiculous. Im currentley sitting on my bedroom floor with him sitting in my lap playing with bubble rap

  • I love to dress up super whorish and offensively but I had to stop a few weeks ago because I can't wear heels now. It was awesome to walk around looking like a tramp with a huge baby belly! Now it's sweats all the time.

I'm now having to walk by swinging my legs in front of me like I have artificial legs, which takes a lot of effort, and I'm having to take breaks after, say, taking a bath or making the bed. I'm tired of people making awkward rascal scooter jokes when I mention that I can barely walk. I wish I could hit people in the cerebellum and ask how funny is it now, bitch?

Highlight of the day: bad girls club all star battle's first episode is on oxygen.com!
  • @Gamera3000 want me to take some bitches out? I will for you

  • Totally reminded me of something funny I saw on FB last night.  I think I have this.

@gamera3000 - I've totally been thinking about the good old days with BD today. Thanks a lot!!

    ;)
  • We had a "snow" day even though there was no snow… no sleet… no ice… ??!!  So, I had to WHF. Have you ever tried to WFH with an 11 month old under foot? It sucks. lol
