It's getting real

I had my ivf orientation today. Went over injections with my fave nurse, met with my RE who is fan-freakin-tastic, and met the embryologist, also a cool guy. I did find out that my ER/ET RE will depend on whoever is scheduled that day, so keeping my fx it's my RE, but not a huge concern. Also had an u/s to check ovary suppression and AFC, which was 18! Injections start on Feb. 21st!! We also squared everything away with the business office in regards to payments...least favorite part of the day. Ready to get going!

Two DDs 10/08 and 08/10, no primary IF
TTC #3 since 10/2011 - dx unexplained/weak ovulation
 3 BFN clomid + TI cycles, 5 BFN clomid/gonal f IUIs, 1 mmc IUI
2/19/2014 IVF #1 Unexpected low E2 (oversuppressed) -> increased to max doses = 3 or 4 follicles, converting to IUI
BFFP Saw 1 beautiful heartbeat at 6w6d, follow up u/s at 9w showed mmc. Eff this.
NTNP 5/2014-9/2014, OPKs and TI 10/2014 - 1/2015. 
RPL testing all normal, AFC, AMH, and FSH all normal. 
IVF 1.2 1/22/2014 natural cycle start, AFC 28, 300 gonal f/150menopur. 
ER 2/3/15 14R 8M 3F w/ICSI Day 5 transfer on 2/8/15 of one "Grade A+" blast and have TWO frosties!

    I'll be starting like a week later! And when my hubs does the progesterone shots I say that and he is like, can't you take this seriously? But when I do I flinch, so acting the fool is the better option for me!!!

    Good luck!! I also start meds for my FET on the 21st!! When they came in the mail the other day, I looked at the PIO needle and was like oh hell I didn't miss that needle. 

    TTC for 1.5 years with a crappy RE. 12 cycles with clomid (11 too many)
    New RE, 3 failed IUI's moving to IVF with ICSI

    Induced week 39 due to severe GD

    I numb my butt first, then I can barely feel it. I remember having to ask DH not to hold the needle like he was going to stab me in one swift motion.

    Lol yea, I asked for PIO until they told me they were IM, then I was like.. give me ALL THE VAG pills.  <:-P

    And that needle is terrifying.  My stomach turned when I saw it.  It's all worth it in the end, though!

    Taking a break from herbs and just riding the healthy train.  
    Planning medicated cycle end of summer.  FX I get KU before then!!!

    Funny, with our PIO, we use that big needle to draw it out of the vial, but then they have us switch to an equally long but much thinner needle to inject.  That's not the case for you?

    Much luck for your cycle!  
    Trying for #2 with IVF after damage done in a D&C left me with one functioning (but too scarred) ovary and tube to get pregnant safely without assistance. It's a really, really long story, but that is the gist of it.  We have one daughter (whose c-section birth started this roller coaster) born in 2012 after a miscarriage in 2011. 
    Failed 1st attempt at IVF (Fresh ET day 3, 1 frozen embryo saved) in December 2013.  
    Failed 2nd attempt at IVF (Fresh ET day 5, 2 frozen embryos saved) in February 2014.
