Just got to work from my monthly appt. Baby is growing right on target (measuring 23, actually 22w5d), 155 hb, moving around all over the place. We talked about the cramping and as it's getting better we're not going to worry about it for now as everything still looks great. I asked about the tdap and he said it won't pass to the baby, but because I then won't get it, baby shouldn't either. I will still be getting the booster later in my pregnancy. We also talked about circumcision and he said that after the pedi's evaluation, the OB does it in the hospital before we leave if there's nothing to contraindict it. (Side note: HA! I just used contraindict in a sentence, I feel smart today) Sounds good to me, glad I don't have to do any other planning for that.
I've got my last cervix check at the MFM today. I'm 24w3d They are also doing a growth scan for a baseline. I'm hoping little man looks good and is measuring on track!
I am a little bummed I'm going from every 2 weeks at the MFM to 4 weeks but my OB apts fall right in the middle so I'll still being a doctor every 2 weeks.
Going back to Dr to talk about placenta previa. A/S showed baby is doing really good but there are things that we're concerned about. Good luck to everyone with your appointments!
Already done - seems quick but it's been half an hour. Guess that shows you how accustomed I am to waiting (see previous fffc). Got to hand over my huge orange jug of pee - good riddance!
Everything is fine. My first GD test was normal. She's happy with my weight gain and everything else. She did a quick check on the Doppler, everything good there.
We mainly talked birth plan - she asked me if is given it any thought. Haha! I told her I understood the likelihood of me being even able to attempt a VBAC given my circumstances and that I was fine with a RCS. She agreed - it is nice to know that I actually knew what I was talking about and aside from giving me the pros and cons of all sides, I already understood what the deal was. So it looks like we will schedule when I reach 30 weeks, and I have a feeling it will be one of two dates that I've already been anticipating (and researching, because I am a dork who is interested in what else happened on those days in history - M was born on Elvis's death day).
So, there you have it. Back in four weeks, another GD test in six. BP was mostly okay this time (I blame early morning work drama for that). Good to go!

I think you meant to say contraindicate. I'll still give you a gold star, though!
Had my second anatomy scan today. First one (at 18 weeks) they couldn't see the heart well enough because baby was moving so much. I'm 22w2d and baby is 1 pound 4 ounces and measuring about a week bigger. He was very active, so once again the Dr couldn't get a good enough look at his heart. He wants me back in 4 more weeks for a 3 scan in hopes the baby will cooperate and he can get a better look at things. He told me not to worry. Everything he can see looks great so far. Still makes me a tad uneasy, but I'll take the doctors word for it. Little guy has been kicking me like crazy! It's always such a relief the first few minutes when we get to see him moving around and hear his little heart beating!!
Hope all you ladies had/have fabulous appts today!
