Nope. I think I waited too long to introduce it because I was new at BFing and worried about nipple confusion. I don't really care that she doesn't take one.

She used to only take it while she was crying in the car. Occasionally at first I could switch out my nipple for one if she was asleep. Now never but she chews/sucks on her security blanket
Both my boys would only take them in certain situations, a certain style, and for just a short time before they gave up all together. I was the paci for DS1 but DS2 is happy to chew on anything and doesn't have as strong a drive to suck on things.

My guy takes one when sleeping, and sometimes if he gets fussy at night, you can get him to keep sleeping by giving it to him. I recently found out that they have never had to give him one at daycare, which shocked me. He naps without one there, but always seems to need one to fall asleep at home.
My baby loves her pacifier. Sometimes it's the only thing that will calm her down, been that way since she was born. Eventually I'm going to try to phase it out to use only at night for sleep.
I took his away at 6 months. He was dependent on it to sleep, and it was becoming a nightmare because he was constantly spitting it out and then waking up crying for us to put it back in. I'm glad it's gone. Lol

How did you wean him? I plan to wean LO when we're back from holidays next week but not sure how to go about it
Re: Does your baby not take pacifiers?
Our lil' diva: late like her Momma: 40 weeks 5 days!
