Flying Alone. We can do it!

Flying was success! K did awesome! In Atlanta FOUR TSA agents helped me through security. Don't be afraid to ask for help!!!! Everything went pretty smooth through the airports. It's the ride home he cried cause he was so tired. It's not as scary as you think! We can do it ladies! Here's some photos of our trip!

  • I carried him in my boba it was so great! I got everything done I needed to while he was sound asleep.

  • I had a 2 hour drive to the airport an hour and 45 flight then an hour and a half our drive.
  • Don't freak yourself out. It will all go well I'm sure. And I took headphones cause if the baby does cry I'm sure people will complain and all you need to focus on is you and the baby not what other people have to say. And usually it's someone who is a parent or grandparent so they know how it goes. Don't worry! I'm sure things will be fine!
  • I fed him while going up them burped him when they brought the drinks and snacks around then played and talked with him then fed him going back down. Then put him back in the boba while everyone was getting off the plane. I literally planned everything to a T. With several back ups lol
  • I breastfed on the plane I just made sure I had a window seat for privacy and an arm rest to hold him up with.
  • Were you allowed to keep him in your carrier to go through security? I have to take a 7 hour flight with LO by myself and I'm worried about juggling everything
  • My main advice is feed feed feed. If they fall asleep while eating don't wake them to burp them. Let them sleep. And if they do cry just smile and try your best to soothe them.

I put my wrap on before we left for the airport to save time but he stayed in the wrap the whole time, I stopped and put him in before security and put all our toiletries in his car seat that way I could easily get to them, went through, put everything away and went on my way to my gate. I did learn not to deny help. The first person to offer me help I said no thank you to and immediately wished I hadn't after.
