Thank you for all your kind words. When we arrived at the hospital Hunter asked Cason's dad where he was and his dad just broke down and said he didn't make. They were waiting till we got there to tell Hunter in person.
I am beside myself. He spent all day Sunday with us..this is my husbands best friend, best man in our wedding, and Coopers Godfather I don't know what we are going to do without him. Our families are very much intertwined. I am trying to be strong for Hunter because that's what he needs me to do but I am a mess on the inside and the pain is so so so deep.
We stayed at the hospital with his parents and brother until 5 am and we checked in to a hotel and both just laid here and cried until we fell asleep. Hubby is still asleep. This is going to be so hard and so rough.
