How much milk (approximately) are you giving your 12 - 15 month old?

Our pedi said they should have 16-24 oz of milk per day.

We were told 16-24oz per day, but that was just referring to WCM (DD wasn't breastfed).

DD drinks about 20 oz, but I exclusively pump.

DS still nurses 2x/d. He drinks at most 8oz WCM a day. He also eats 2-3oz greek yogurt each day.

16-24 oz including bm. DD nurses 3 times a day so I just give her wcm with breakfast and dinner. Maybe one other time if she seems like she wants it.

I told the pedi she was doing 8-12oz of WCM per day, and she said "perfect." They all have different thoughts on this one... DD also still nurses at least twice a day, and loves all things dairy. So I'm not concerned.

My daughter doesn't drink WCM. She still nurses and has a very balanced diet, including a lot of healthy fats and Greek yogurt. our ped said it is not necessary.

@jani7, it is 16oz of WCM plus whatever BM she gets nursing. I don't know how much that is (haven't pumped since she was 12mo) but I have a feeling it's not much, since her nursing sessions have become extremely quick over the last few weeks.

I am new to the board here and I have a 14mth DD I am still nursing as well. I am so glad you asked this question! I often wonder this myself. I let DD take the lead. She likes cups of milk but not as much as she likes nursing! I was so glad to see so many others that are still nursing like I am! Sorry my post isn't very helpful! Good luck figuring it out!

My little guy is 14 months and drinks approx 20 oz WCM daily. He loves milk. Our pedi said this is good.

My son drinks between 16 and 24 oz. a day. Our pedi is happy with that and even said if he's eating a good balanced diet and include other sources such as greek yogurt he wouldn't even need to drink that much.

pedi told me 16-24oz per day, but my son was having issues with constiptation so he was cut down to just 16 per day.

we give around 16 oz. Pedi told us to aim for this amt and to keep it under 20oz a day..so we followed that advice

Different pediatrics will tell u differently but my daughter is 17 mo old. When she switched to whole milk her Dr said no more than than 24 oz and no less than 16 oz. So she gets 3 cups a day which for her is 24 and that's what I always gave her
