Girl or Boy?

A good friend of ours got this "Janey Baby" outfit for Xander. It is super soft and comfy, but I think he looks like a girl in it.

I refuse to take him out in public in it because people are always mistaking him for a girl anyway. (I think he looks all boy, but a lot of people think his eyes and long lashes look girly)

The friend is coming to visit soon and I was hoping he would have outgrown it by the time she got here. It's not looking good! LOL

Anyway... Opinions? Do you agree he looks like a girl? Or am I crazy? image

    It could be boy or girl but FTR your little guy is totally all BOY!  No way I would ever think he is a little girl.

    but my daughter always gets called a boy because I often dress her in neutral stuff. doesn't bug me, really... people are dumb

    He's all boy.  And that outfit is cute and neutral.  I'd put it on my son.

    I think it looks neutral. DS was wearing a blue Adidas track suit, and playing with his football Taggie, the other day and some woman told me my daughter was beautiful.

    BFP #3 01/05/13 EDD 09/17/13 u/s 1/24/13-great appt, measuring 2 days ahead, NT scan 3/11/13-great scan measuring 4 days ahead, A/S 4/29/13-another great scan can't wait to meet my baby BOY!!!!!

    People always think LO is a boy (even if she is wearing pink, apparently), and like PPs have said, people are just dumb.  Try not to let them get you down!

    This happens to us. Alexis was decked out in pink with a bow and her stroller is pink... The bag boy asked how old the little guy is....seriously lol!?

    I think the outfit is neutral and I think your baby is just a beautiful little boy

    Thanks everyone! We think he is pretty cute in whatever he is wearing, :) I think it is the cuffs on the arms that make me think it looks girly. They make the sleeves kind of puff out.

    Neutral. People are dumb. LO gets called a boy frequently even dressed in obviously girly outfits (think pink bunnies & hair bows).

    Definitely a neutral outfit. But I feel like even if your son was dressed on punk he'd still look like a boy.

    Neutral or boy. I also think it's silly that you refuse to take him out in public in it for fear that someone will refer to him as a girl. It's really not that big of a deal (coming from someone whose girl gets called a boy frequently).

    I also have to say neutral or boy. And honestly, if people are going to call him a girl, they're going to do it no matter what he's wearing. Like PP, my little girl gets called "he" all the time, even when she's decked out in pink and bows.

    I'll be the odd person out and agree with you that the outfit looks feminine. Your LO definitely looks like a boy though! I'm generally not a fan of gender neutral clothing for my LO, just not my taste.
