First they made my jeans skinny ... (question on Carter's Snug Fit)

Does anyone have any experience with the Carter's "Snug Fit" pajamas? I've ordered Carter's sleepers and pajamas before, but I think they were just regular fit. Carter's says the snug fit is important for fire safety reasons. (Although we generally don't let LO take lit candles and matches to bed with him.) The product reviews I've read are somewhat mixed.

I'm just wondering if they'll be too tight for my not-so little man (89th percentile for weight and height)! Has anyone tried them yet?

  • Not on DD but SS he has some of the tight fit pjs. He looks adorable in them. They also stretch pretty well so by the time he wakes up in the morning they can be a lil loose. Those are the disney ones. I'm sure the Carter's have some good stretch to them.

  • Love snug fit. G is 90th percentile. They are stretchy but don't ride up. Super cute.

  • Those are 9month, which is what she is wearing anyway. She has really long legs, and there was still room for length.

  • DS had snug fit sleepers as a nb and 3 month and we loved them then. He's now in 9 months due to height but I haven't bought any snug fit sleepers.
  • I prefer the looser fit, but I need to read some more about the chemicals they put in the fabric to make them flame retardant. I may change my stance on that

The big one won't go near snug fit these days because he's funny about how clothes feel (as are most toddlers/preschoolers).

  • Gymboree has snugfit jammies and they don't use chemicals.
I usually get snug fit and just size up, its still snug because of the design but has a little more give.

  • With snug fit pjs I usually get a size bigger for both LO and for my 3 year old DS

  • I love the snug fit, they are adorable and it think they are safer because they aren't loose. I feel like they stretch and are pretty true to size.
  • I've never heard of snug fit jammies before, I'll have to look into this. LO is always getting her feet up into the body of her sleepers.

  • This is the first I've heard of snug fit jammies.
