Shrinxx Hips works, but hard to sit in. Also, for hips rather than belly. I have also used the Belly Bandit. Both together make me feel all secure like my baby burrito all swaddled up
I got a belly bandit, but honestly, the one from the hospital worked much better. I wear the one I got from the hospital pretty much daily and have only worn the belly bandit once or twice.
I had tremendous success with Belly Bandit after my last birth (c/s). I wore it from about a week pp to 8 weeks, night and day, except when showering.
Do you have the bamboo one or the 'regular' one? I purchased whatever the regular one is when they were on Zulily, obviously I haven't used it yet, but hoping it won't make much of a difference which one. Although I have heard a lot more about the bamboo than the other. Guess I will find out in a few weeks anyway??
I had no idea the hospital offered this. Ordered the Bellefit (obsessed with Amazon Prime) which seemed crazy $ but got rave reviews and have heard from people that it's worth it. Really hope that's true but only time will tell.
I got the Belly Bandit deal on zulily and I'm taking it to the hospital this time to try it out. I did ask my OB and she was actually against them... said she feels like they keep you from using those ab muscles and could make recovery take longer but that she wasn't opposed if I wanted to try it. I will give it a shot this time. If it makes me more comfortable, I will use it- although probably for limited times. To be honest, I don't know if I will like it... I didn't want ANYTHING tight fitting anywhere around my incision or my boobs after my previous c-sections.
I had to search what this was, although I had an idea. After abdominoplasty I had to wear a hospital stomach binder for weeks after due to complications. I haven't even been able ro bring myself to wear Spanx since or control pantyhose since. but I might have to break the old binder out.
@bribbon not being judgy mcjudergerton but I am not at all surprised there's a 'limited edition' kourtney kardashian one; they are marketing machines. what other family has all become famous starting from a sex tape?? I literally lol'd.
For those of you who got the binders from the hospital, did you have a c/s or vaginal birth? I've heard it's standard for c/s, but wondering if all new moms can request them?

I had a c/s and I didn't get one. If you want one it can't hurt to ask

Thanks! I did some googling and it doesn't *seem* like my hospital gives them out c/s or not, but I'll ask when the time comes. In the meantime, I'm thinking I'll order the Gabrialla Breathable Elastic Abdominal Binder.
I had a vaginal birth. I asked the nurse the next day and she said sure! Wait until you get home to wear it bc they'll be pushing on your belly here, etc. No questions asked, they just gave me one. It's definitely worth a shot!!
