I have a luncheon tomorrow to raise money for the local children's hospital, so I will enjoy a child-free morning which includes snacks, a bake sale, numerous raffles and dollar auctions, and lunch. Oh, and attractive local young firefighters who walk around selling things for different raffles. Then tomorrow evening I am going out with my of my friends for dinner, which I haven't done in forever. So tomorrow I get a nice break!

Dh has poker tonight so I am having a date night with a calzone and my couch. No plans for tomorrow or Sunday but probably doing stuff around the house.

Today is my and DH's 5th anniversary. He's taking me out to a favorite local restaurant for a fancy, romantic dinner. Tomorrow we have DD's swim lesson and might take her to see the Frozen sing-along movie special at the theater. Sunday, we're meeting with our builder to make a final pick on a lot and put down a deposit on the new home we're building. Big weekend!

Going to my best friends baby shower tomorrow! It's the first weekend I have had off from work in a very long time, so I'll just catch up on household stuff and relax :-)

DH is going snowboarding tomorrow and I may tag along and hang out in the lodge with the other wives of his friends. Or I may skip out and veg on the couch with netflix.

My BFF is visiting San Francisco this weekend w/ her boyfriend, who is from the East Coast & has never been. And although I now live 120 miles from San Francisco, they are coming up to visit us at my house too

So excited, we haven't seen each other since September.

Was supposed to be painting the "corner" for future DS, but my dad decided that with the upcoming ice storm, he wants to wait until next weekend for it to be a bit warmer (since we sleep/live in the same room). *sad face*

But, I get to see one of my best friends tomorrow AND get to set up the crib/changing table/dresser (free from my bestie who moved to Alaska). Other than that, DH works and I still get the bed to myself.

Game night tonight with my sister, her bf, and another couple. Tomorrow night going to see The Dan Band with two other couples at the Casino ( CT casino to clarify, nothing special lol) For those that don't know The Dan Band is the band that sings at the wedding in the beginning of the movie Oldschool. Going to get paint supplies, maybe picking up the crib if my BIL can make it down to help us, cleaning...totally exciting weekend. Haha. Whenever I have weekends like this, I always picture this scene from Old School:

“Well, um, actually a pretty nice little Saturday, we're going to go to Home Depot. Yeah, buy some wallpaper, maybe get some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath, & Beyond, I don't know, I don't know if we'll have enough time”

DH and I are headed to Big Bear this weekend for Snow Camp for the YMCA camp we run. This will be our last trip there pre-baby and my only trip this year since I won't be going to our summer session due to my due date. This is also where DH and I got engaged almost 6 years ago!

DH has a tournament in Tampa so that will take up most of my Saturday. I was hoping to hit the beach Sunday but it may not be warm enough (even though it was in the upper 80s two days ago, crazy FL weather).

Since we both are off tonight we're going to dinner and Chilis- I've been wanting their chicken tortilla soup- afterwards maybe Target and Joann fabrics. We have nothing planned for Saturday and Sunday. Probably clean. I might just put cleaning off until Monday or Tuesday since I'm off until Wednesday.

Nothing exciting here. Going to Michael's to get a poster framed for DD's room. I tried to book a prenatal massage with my gift certificate but they were full. I'm in desperate need of doing laundry and cleaning the house. I still haven't unpacked our suitcases from the baby moon and we've been back for 2 weeks!

Netflix and homemade pizza tonight. Possibly hanging some artwork in the nursery if we feel motivated. Tomorrow we have our first childbirth class all day long so I'll be making crockpot Italian beef sandwiches for when we get home. Sunday some friends are coming over for brunch and games. So basically all of my plans revolve around the baby and/or food!

Our weekends are lame - it's busy season for DH so he has to work full days on Saturdays and he's been working on our bathroom on Sundays. This Sunday he'll be grouting the shower tiles and then our bathroom is DONE!!! Woo hoo!!!

Friday nights have always been my reading nights (as in, I want to relax at home, read, eat some pita and tzatziki or whatever, have some sex, sleep). H knows that, we even discussed it this morning. I just got home from work and he wants "to party." No idea what that means but I'm sure it involves real clothes and no reading. Fingers crossed sex is still involved.
The rest of the weekend will be house hunting and eating. Livin' large.

Having a pre V-day romantic winter getaway at a neat little place only about a 10 min. drive from our house (which is about all I can handle these days). We get to stay in a jacuzzi tub suite, a four course dinner with wine (boo

( I miss wine), and breakfast. Excited to 'get away.' Then on Sunday is my baby shower. All in all a pretty good weekend.

We took DS to the in-laws for the night. We had dinner and went furniture shopping tonight. Tomorrow we're going shopping for baby stuff and having lunch at Melt. Maybe a movie, too. Sunday we're steam cleaning carpets and starting to set up the nursery.

If I feel alright (had to use a sick day today) then my H and I are going to go register! I'm pretty excited about that! His brother and my dad also came over tonight and moved furniture out of nursery and moved my recliner into there. Then Sunday night we are going out to eat for my mom's 60th birthday!!

We took my parents out for pizza tonight, picked up our crib that was ready for pick up at the store and came home and watched The Chew baby shower episode to see me in the audience, haha.

Tomorrow is too busy! Baby sprinkle an hour away (boo driving) and then going out for SIL's birthday. Secretly hoping she gets engaged. Not sure why I think it might happen.

My weekend involves taking too long at the barn tomorrow so I can get some quiet time, and who knows whatelse.

My plans include insomnia tonight. Tomorrow I want to go to Hobby Lobby (story of my life). A few weeks ago, I found some prints on Etsy that I loved for the jittery, but lost the link somehow. You'd think between pinterest, bookmarks, favorites, browser history, etc. that I would be able to find it! Anyway, I'd like to try and recreate the prints for baby boy's room. We always do sushi on Saturday, then I'll have a busy day at work on Sunday filled with drama. Oh joy! I'm gritting my teeth but actually kind of looking forward to it.

Thanks for the wishes ladies! DH and I had such a nice evening. @ Luckyu317, I lucked out and remembered I'd bought a plain black maternity dress before Christmas. I dressed it up with a bunch of jewelry and was so happy to find something from my closet.

The best part of the evening...the maitre d came up at the end of our meal to ask if we enjoyed everything. He said, I understand it's your anniversary and want to let you know dinner has been taken care of, and he handed me a hand written note. My sister had contacted the restaurant that afternoon and arranged to pay for dinner as a gift from her, her hubby, and my niece. What an awesome surprise!!
