A non-update

Hey ladies - I feel it's been a while since I gave you an update on DD2's seizures.

There's a good reason for that: there is no update to give.

Her last episode happened in early August, and I'm not even sure if it actually was one, because it was much milder than what we were accustomed to. So that's 6-months and we never even started her on the meds Dr No-bedside-manner recommended.

I sent in requests for a 2nd consult to a few hospitals. One of them called me back to schedule an appointment, but the Dr they had available came with had the worst reviews ever. In fact, when I expressed my concern to the secretary, she said "Well, ummm, he does come somewhat recommended (SOMEWHAT!?!)" and then she added "He is a little rough around the edges". If that's what the secretary was willing to share about him, I wonder how he actually is, YKWIM? So I asked her to call me back when another doctor was available. I'm beginning to wonder if all kids' neurologists are asshats...

So there. In other words, I am happy to report there is nothing to report
