So failed my one hour on Monday and am doing my three hour now. I was wondering how many ladies went straight back to work right after doing the three hour? I already feel shitty and only one blood draw in and hope I feel better in three hours. I am such a wuss....

I'm doing my 3 hour now too.
2 blood draws down, 2 more to go and I'm going right into work after I'm done....unless I happen to pass out or puke.
I am the biggest wuss and Hate needles....it was tough at first when I heard they were going to do 4 blood draws.....but so far, so good.

Last pregnancy, I tried to go back to work after the 3 hour (after stopping for a high protein lunch first). I couldn't make it. I was so, so sick. I was clammy, shaky, nauseous, and had a terrible headache. I literally ended up home in bed for 2 days because of it.

I'm not even going back to work after my 1 hour next week, so kudos to anyone who goes back after their 3 hour....super woman, I say!

I did go to work after my 3 hour, but I also started mine at 6:30am. So I was able to eat by 10am which is normal for me. Needles don't bother me. I did feel the "crash" around 11, but I just pushed through it. I guess everyone is different. Hope the rest of it goes well! GL.

I carried on with my day as usual after my 3-hr in my first pregnancy. I just drank a full bottle of water and ate a good lunch in the car after I left the doctor's office. I felt fine. Mine involved 6 venipunctures (4 planned, 2 unplanned due to a blown vein and a malfunctioning vacutainer).

@lunabug924 Have you heard your results yet? I did my 3 hour Tuesday and haven't heard anything.

I felt fine in my first pregnancy after the 3 hour but in the afternoon this time, I felt like all I wanted to do was lay down to keep from throwing up.

I had an early 3hr test done a few weeks ago. I was fine up until the last blood draw. I immediately felt lightheaded. I made it to work and everyone immediately said I looked like a ghost. I felt terrible. I ate something and felt better. I felt wiped out for the rest of the day.

I got my results 2 days after. I did have to call and ask though. Most of the time my OB's office won't call unless there's a problem. I did pass it! I hope you get good news on yours.
