I'm on vacation right now and haven't been on in a few days. I have missed a lot! Confession: I ditched family game night last night to lay on my bed and try to catch up on TB. I fell asleep before I could finish UO though, y'all were busy yesterday!
I forgot to take off LO's amber necklace at night. The next night I made sure to take it off. He slept like shit. I left it on purposely the next night to see if there was an correlation or just coincidence.
I started my diet yesterday. I had a chocolate chip cookie. I want more.

I keep forgetting to put on deodorant. This used to never be a problem but ever since giving birth I am way stinkier than I've ever been. What happened to my 12 year old pits? Wahhh.
My hubby called yesterday to see if I was ok with him hitting happy hour... I told him to go and have fun knowing that he ALWAYS gets a case of the catholic guilts and comes home and cleans. I did zero cleaning while he was out. He came home and was like a cleaning tornado. My house looks amazing and I am not the least bit sorry for being a lazy ass.

I joined weight watchers online 3 weeks ago and haven't truly started tracking my points yet. Last night my husband asked me if I wanted a glass of wine, but then quickly apologized because he "knows I'm watching my points." (In the past, I've tried to avoid alcohol while on weight watchers) I quietly just told him that I will have that glass of wine because I was good with points during the day. The wine was delicious!
I had McDs yesterday for breakfast, a Dairy Queen blizzard last night and stopped at Sonic for breakfast this am. Bad eating week!! I've been trying so hard to eat better, total fail for healthy eating this week!! Maybe it'll all go to my butt since that disappeared after giving birth!

I woke up early to go to the gym...instead I bumped and held Willa while she slept. #lazyfordays #thiswontgetflamed #letmetryagain. Really it was too cold outside to get up and go to the gym...it's 48 degrees out. #flameaway

DH will die a slow and painful death by forced insomnia.
He just woke up our teething baby (and me) after I Finally got us to sleep after F O U R hellish hours. And all because he had to kiss us goodbye as he left for work. We got a whopping 35 minutes.
Oh I have another one...but I'll probably get flamed.
We fired our nanny on Monday without any notice. It was the 5th time she called out sick, this time claiming her mom died. I know her mom was in a nursing home, and I hope she's not lying about her passing. We told her we send our condolences and that she can take off all the time she needs to make arrangements and heal. Then she asked if she was getting all the time she needed paid. UM wtf? She worked for us for 4 weeks, called in sick 5 times and was late every day except 2 (which in turn made my husband late for work). So we told her we no longer needed her and wished her the best.
Then she had the nerve to ask for her severance pay.... WTF? We even gave her a paid day off this month! UGH.

I didn't go to any of my high school proms. I still think they are a giant waste of money.

Me too! I only attended one high school dance, a spring formal. No proms, no homecomings. I agree they're a waste of money, but maybe that's because my friends were outside of school.. I regret it only slightly, but not enough to be sad about it
Oh yea, I have another. I threw a long cardigan and fancy scarf over my t-shirt and yoga pants I slept in so I looked presentable while dropping off DS1 in the carpool lane at school. They have people that open the doors when the weather is cold so I didn't want to look completely messy! I was coming home to clean and didn't feel like changing.

Dd was up every hour on the hour last night, she's up now when she should be taking her morning nap. So when DS came in at 6 to get me so I could take him to the bus, I was just falling asleep and I was worried I would get stuck on our road that never gets plowed. So, I said something about ice on our road and waved him off. He's bummed that school called off again today and I'm not telling him his mom was being lazy. He's missed two days all year, he'll be fine.

@elllaf Mine go directly in the freezer. We order Thin Mints (for me), Tagalongs (for DH), and Samoas (for me and DS1) and they all go in the freezer. Thin Mints are amazing cold.
@AmandagStark girls scout cookies disappear quickly in my house. Luckily they only come once a year and are expensive or I would be completely unhealthy all of the time. I know the Family Dollar has Thin Mint and Samoa knock offs that are pretty spot on so I stay away.
My best friend since first grade is coming to visit us next weekend to meet LO for the first time. The thing is she forgot to tell me she was coming and ask if we were even going to be around. It's not a surprise visit. when I texted her yesterday to say hi and heard she was coming for the first time she was like "oh crap, didn't I send you the info? I hope you guys are around next weekend!" I have never known her to be flaky like this so it's bizarre.
The thing is we have grown apart since high school. I sort of think her and her husband are pretentious, self-absorbed, and condescending now. When I saw her last May, DH and I were super uncomfortable around them and their friends and I have barely spoken/texted with her since then. Hence my surprise at her visit. Anyway my FFFC is that I'm not even excited for them to come. They don't want to have kids and just want to travel the globe by themselves forever, so it'll be real fun for them to meet my fussy LO...
Ooohh I have one! Whether dh is scheduled to work or not if a snow day happens, his bosses always hold a mandatory conference call at 7 am on that snow day. Sometimes, just to remind them that people have families and lives outside of work, I'll walk in the room with dd and let her talk/scream/cry for a minute and then walk out.
I told dh that my car keeps dying in hopes that I can get a new one quicker. It's only happened once but I told him it's happened a few times but never when ds is with me.
I went to the gym yesterday for the first time since 2012, and all I did was take a shower and use their electricity to charge my phone and dry my hair (we hadn't had power since early Tuesday morning).
