Manic Monday Was Right!

Yesterday stunk.

I went to see my specialist and she confirmed I have ANOTHER tear. Since I am pregnant we can't aggressively treat it the way we did last time. So, I have to be on prescription laxatives till after I deliver. And they cost $200+/month.

Oh, and she changed her mind about me needing a colonoscopy so now I have that to look forward to next year.

I guess better preventative medicine than crisis medicine but I just want my butt to be normal, LOL.

At least I had a Monday appointment so I got the awkward part over early.

Pharmacy called and my insurance is finally kicking in so poop meds will only be $23. Hallelujah!

@kimbus22 i knew you had some issue but couldn't recall the specifics. a cyst? my brother has those on his tailbone and says they're awful. a woman on my bmb says she has the same issue as my brother and has to fight them to get them to drain them. what a freaking nightmare.

That was good thinking to head off further problems by having the sinuses removed. Sounds terribly painful. Do you still have a wound there that is open or just pain? My brother toyed with the idea of surgery but i think he is chickening out. if you're still miserable months later than perhaps it isn't worth it.
