September 2014 Moms

Don't have the feeling.

About three weeks ago I was nauseated until I threw up in the middle of the night then that stopped. My breasts use to be tender and I had that full belly feeling. I had a positive test but now I don't have any symptoms of being pregnant. Except frequent urinating and cravings..I still have a positive test when I take them. And my Dr appt isn't for another two weeks. Does anyone else have this feeling..any advice.

Re: Don't have the feeling.

  • You are pregnant!  Hang in there another two weeks and just be happy you don't have many symptoms:)

  • Symptoms come and go for just about everyone. Don't worry about this. Just enjoy not having crazy morning sickness and count yourself lucky for now.

  • I am now 10 weeks and still don't feel pregnant but two ultrasounds have proven otherwise :) it's ok. The wait is always rough but hang in there! :)
  • Every pregnancy is different for every single person. I wouldn't worry at all. Maybe you're just one of the lucky ones! (As I lay in bed cuddling my "just in case" bucket) :)
  • I had next to no symptoms with my first pregnancy. This one, I had really sore boobs, exhaustion, and nausea for the first few weeks, and then just sore boobs and some tiredness. I was worried that my symptoms seemed to have disappeared, but my last u/s showed a healthy 9w baby with a strong heartbeat. I'm just enjoying the fact that I'm able to eat and take my kid out and about, frankly.

  • Thanks everyone. This is my second pregnancy and I knew they could be different but its Completely opposite! Thanks for he advice it makes me feel better
  • It's okay :)  It's so hard in early pregnancy because you can't feel the baby move so you worry something is wrong until your next appointment.  It's normal for symptoms to come and go.  I do recommend you find a doctor with more availability.  You should be able to contact your dr for any little thing, not being available for 2 weeks is unacceptable.

  • I totally have had this feeling...but like others said I think it comes and goes this early.  So hard not to compare and worry!

I think in 2 weeks is when her original appointment is.

A lack of symptoms wasn't urgent enough for my OB to get me in sooner and I understand that.
you're right I misread what she wrote.  In either case it can't hurt to at least call and tell them your concern.  That's what they are there for!  My obgyn said if I'm even thinking about calling I should call her.

  • I didn't feel pregnant with my first for quite a while. I peed on a lot of tests. Haha
This one is making me slightly sick, I would rather have no symptoms. ;)

  • I had lots of symptoms in weeks 5 to almost 7 (heightened sense of smell, cramping, hunger, sore boobies).  Now, nothing.  Except wanting to sleep 12 hours per day.

  • That how I feel coffee bean. My first pregnancy I was miserable. I just cant say the same for this one. My on only sees new patients 1 time a day so that was the next available appt. I had to cancel the first one, but this is unacceptable because I'll go in at 12 weeks instead of 8 and that's just to confirm I'm pregnant :/
  • It happens I suppose, I totally understand because I felt the same way a week ago. At first I had cramps (totally freakwde out) and was generally sleepy most of the day. I didn't feel prego at all.
Now the nausea and vomiting is kicking in and it's like baby saying "do you want more signs momma?" Lol

Hang in there - the symptoms change for everyone. A few weeks ago - I was hurling in the bathroom and dry heaving all day long with no desire to eat anything. Now I'm sleepy and pee all the time and I have insane hunger.....

    It just changes for everyone.

  • You just described my current symptoms, plus I have been having some bleeding. I don't have any pregnancy symptoms at all. But I had an us yesterday because I was convinced that I was no longer pregnant and there was a nice strong heartbeat. I hope you have the same experience.

  • People often forget - sometimes when it's crazy bleeding it's a SCH - and they bleed like a river! Doesn't mean you are completely out of the game when you do.

  • I feel the same way sometimes. The responses to the OP really helped me, too. :)
