Snacky snack snack

I just made this wonderful pancake thing my moms cookbook calks a German pancake, but no Germans have ever heard of. And now I desperately want another one, but realistically know I don't have room. I made chocolate chip cookies last night, but no longer interested in those.

What are you snacking on now? I need some inspiration.

  • Just had a blueberry muffin!
  • My snack plan of action: 1. Take yogurt of choice, top with layer of granola, layer of almonds and layer of chopped-up blackberries. Yum! 2. Reward yourself for your healthy choices with a Boston Cream Donut.
I have a feeling I'll be stopping by Tims for a Boston Cream later today. And a Canadian Maple for good measure. I'll miss my eating for two :(

    And TUMS after everything...
  • For anyone who's interested, here's my weird pancake recipe. Bonus points to anyone who knows what they're called.

    1/2 C flour
    1/2 C milk
    3 eggs
    Pinch of salt
    2 T melted butter

Put in greased cast iron pan (or I use a glass pie plate) in 450 degree oven for about 15 min. It should rise up, sort of like Yorkshire pudding. You can put whatever you like in it. I highly recommend fruit and berries or peaches. Icing sugar is also good.
