My husband and I had our engagement pictures taken at a local, outdoor ice rink so I thought it might be kind of neat to take a picture to post on Facebook for pregnancy/gender announcement. The picture didn't come out quite like I envisioned in my head but we just had a friend take the picture and it's good enough.
Anyway, can you think of any creative way to tie "Hey, we're having a baby girl due in June" to the skating theme of the picture?
I am not even sure I am going to use picture, I might just post simple announcement on Facebook or nothing at all until she is born but since I went through the trouble of taking the picture, I thought I would ask.
A friend suggested, "The (last name)'s are waiting on a brand new edition. Ice Ice Baby" or "The (last name)'s are back with a brand new addition. Ice Ice Baby"
My husband suggested, "Daddy pulled the goalie and now he is having a little girl!" or "Daddy better learn to figure skate"
I didn't want to get too cheesy with it so feel free to tell me if this is all really dumb.
