IUI #4 was a bust. We were out of town at the beginning of this cycle so we are benched until the next cycle. Feeling really frustrated by everything right now!

Happy Weekend 3Ters.

I am starting to get simply pissed off how long this last miscarriage is dragging out. I spent the first two weeks of it an emotional wreck but been doing fairly well the last two weeks and have even found myself in happy moments. But the call from my REs office saying that my beta after having dropped from 30,000 on day of learning of mmc on Dec. 27th to 8.9 on Jan 22nd to 8.8 yesterday (ten days later). How the hell could it have only gone down 0.1 especially since I got AF (all be it a light one) Tues-Friday? The cherry on top is tomorrow is the one year mark since I saw the BFP of our first loss. :::sigh::: .

QOTW: We're going to In Laws for the superbowl tomorrow. We are in charge of dessert (which we never do so we went the store bought route this time). I got an assortment; single bite cheese cakes, creame puffs, chocolate dipped macaroon cookies and strawberries. I don't really care who wins tomorrow but I'm leaning towards rooting for the Bronco's, I only like the superbowl for the commercials, food, and family time. And the booze - this year I will be partaking in lots of booze.

I am currently 3dp5dt. We transferred 2 blasts (1 grade 1 expanded blast and 1 grade 2 early blast) last Wednesday and my beta is this coming Thursday. It looks like my trigger is finally gone today (I'll be confirming this tomorrow morning) and I think I have decided to wait until Tuesday 6dp5dt to test with a FRER. Hopefully the next few days go by quickly for me. I am really hoping that this is it since yet again we had nothing to freeze.

QOTW: we decided to go to my sister's for Super Bowl. Which should be fun as long as my BIL doesn't drive DH crazy. We are rooting for Denver.

@missvolvo I'm sorry about this IUI not working out.

I had my f/u with my RE on Friday and he was very happy with my ultrasound. After the surgery, my ovaries have gone from 6cm to 3cm in size. He also pointed out 11 follies so I'm probably about to ovulate. Once I ovulate, which will probably be next week, I'm going to start taking Lupron for 6 weeks and start my first IVF in March.

QOTW: I'm not cheering for one team over the other but I definitely plan on watching it at home with my husband. We'll make all sorts of junk food and drink beer. I'm looking forward to it.

For everyone who is up to date on the above, where are you in your current cycle and how's it going?

I will find out tomorrow if I am canceled for IUI. I have at least 8 follicles that are large and at same size with many many more that are also present but a little smaller. .Decreased follistim and have to get US tomorrow. Doctor will let me know tomorrow. Kinda worried, but hoping the decrease in meds has helped a frontrunner!

@katieb77 so sorry to hear you are still dealing with this. It seems so cruel that they can't do anything to help this along.

I'm on CD6 and this is my 4th day on Gonal-F injects. U/S this morning shows 4-5 follies per ovary, but the RE said many of them probably won't make it. She'll be able to get a better idea at my U/S on Monday but said I should plan on an IUI on Friday or Saturday. I'm hoping for Saturday so we can get a "fresh" sample instead of using the one DH banked last week. With his schedule it's so hard to guarantee he'll be available, so a Saturday IUI is an exciting prospect! More motile sperm! Not having to take time off of work! Whee!

QOTW: We're going to a Superbowl party tomorrow night. I'm making homemade whoopie pies (vanilla or peanut butter filled).

I know it sounds fun to test on valentines day if it's positive - but personal advice would be to enjoy Valentines day as a couple without the joy or sorrow of a pos or neg that day. You'll be 13dpo so I'd either test the day before or the day after. If it's neg the day before you can hold on to it might be too early and have little pity party that day but still enjoy V day hoping for a positive the next day, and if it's positive you can still be celebrating the next day. But if you test on that day then it's attached in your mind KWIM? I'm only saying this as hindsight because of my superbowl BFP then m/c that's all I can think about tomorrow. If I had tested the day before or after it wouldn't be associated (I don't think). Just personal opinion.

Well I'm in my 2ww now. I guess I'm 3 dpo but it's been 5 days since I triggered. I think I'm going to start testing out my trigger tomorrow. I was very excited and hopefully at the beginning of this cycle but now I'm not so much. I only had one follie mature after all those meds. I can get one on my own and that's not getting me anywhere. Each month I'm getting closer to my 40th bday and that scares me that I'm running out of time.

QOTW: really no plans for the Super Bowl. I'm guessing my husband and I may watch it at home, I usually have ppl over and cook I'm just not in the mood right now. I could care less who wins.

Hi ladies, it's been a while (due to report card writing, I don't get on the Internet much at all for a few weeks)...anyway, nothing exciting happening over here...still on a break! I'm on cycle day 29, so a few days past my usual cycle length but I have NO clue when I ovulated as I never got a positive on OPKs this month and I don't temp! Maybe the gonal f & progesterone from my iui in December messed up my cycle?

Its been hard getting in here to post but I have been lurking. Super busy with school, work, and moving into our new house.

We are benched for awhile it appears. My thyroid is throwing a hardcore temper tantrum. Going to see my doctor this week and my RE should be back in from vacation mid-week and I will be making an appointment. Just been a rough month.

We are Steelers fans but I think we are cheering for the Broncos. I will be at work, so its a cake in the breakroom kind of day.

Hey ladies, IUI#2 was today. I responded well to injects (3-4 follies) but DH had less than stellar numbers...as RE said, it only takes 1! I'm having a lot of cramping this time. I'm trying really hard to be relaxed and maintain a positive but not overly optimistic attitude. We may watch the game at home but I'm feeling too rough for company!

I'm stim day 6 for IVF #2 with no measurable follicles, but we know I'm a slow responder. Our good news for the week was a normal collection from DH on Thursday!

QOTW: Go Hawks! DH is from Seattle and is a diehard fan, so has mandated that we watch alone at home. I'm fine with that, I'll still make snacks and we will have a great night together.

FX for all of the ladies cycling right now!

AFM - I had my first ER yesterday. It went really well. I felt okay going into it and pretty good afterwards. They were able to retrieve 12 eggs. On trigger day, I was told that I had 5 dominant follicles so that's keeping my expectations in check. I'm anxiously waiting to get the call with our first fert report and I just keep reminding myself that we only need one. I hope we have one.

QOTW: H and I will just be staying home to watch the game since I'm supposed to take it easy. Physically I feel fine, but who knows how I'll feel after we get the call? Hopefully we can make some yummy snacks! I don't really care who wins - I'm a fan of Peyton Manning, but I also like the Seahawks so I'll be happy either way. When that puppy/beer commercial comes on, I will cry.

This is my first medicated, TI cycle. I triggered on Friday night after having a follie of 15.5 on Thursday morning of 15. They said by the time it ovulated it would be at least 18-19mm. Low motility on our end too, so I'm not super super hopeful, but I am happy that we finally were able to try something! I guess, I'm positive, but trying to stay realistic.
If no period by 2/17, I have to call for a beta. I am not going to poas at all. I'm testing out my trigger either. I have no sticks in my house, so I shouldn't be too tempted.

Superbowl: I am making pulled pork and having over another couple (they'll probably stay until 1/2 time). I love Peyton, but I think I am rooting for the Seahawks

@katib77 I'm sorry you are still stuck in beta hell. The advice you gave about not testing on holidays made a lot of sense and even though it wasn't directed towards me, i'm going to take that advice lol.

Good luck to everyone cycling and to everyone in the TWW. I am still in my TWW and my testing date was rescheduled from tomorrow (Monday) to Tuesday since no one will be there to take blood (??). I'm also taking progesterone which I know can delay AF so i'm trying not to have false hope... I'm pretty sure this cycle is a bust but I can never mentally move on until I have my blood test or AF appears in all its glory.

I'm not a fan of any of the SB teams, but i'll be rooting for the Broncos.

I'm a little more than half way through my 2ww, so I'm getting anxious. We added a trigger shot this cycle, and I'm really glad we did. My progesterone level was 26 compared to 0.2 and 11 the past few times we've checked it. I feel like that's a good sign of a nice strong ovulation if nothing else.

As for the superbowl, we're headed to my bro's house for a party. I'll be cheering for the commercials ;-) And the food! So excited to take a break from all my healthy eating.

10dpiui over here. I took a test this morning on a frer and it was negative, so I know my triggers out. I think I'm out this cycle to be honest. I know it's early, but my body doesn't feel the same as it did this early before.

Seriously trying since Dec 12. 3. What is your diagnosis (if you have one)? Unexplained. OB said weak ovulation which lead to low progesterone, but easily fixed with meds. 4. What treatments are you doing? Currently waiting for my body to get rid of CP from IUI #1. Hopefully there won't be any issues and I can start #2 soon. QOTW: Due to the CP I'm not really in the mood to do anything but I'm sure we will watch.

@calindi - I feel pretty good, but I'm still taking it kind of easy. We just got our fert report and we have 9 embryos! We'll get the next report on Tuesday morning and they'll tell us whether we need to come in for transfer or if we should wait until day 5. I don't really have any plans other than to try to stay calm and be positive!

Still waiting for AF to arrive after IUI #3 failed. IVF meeting on Feb 19th, in the meantime we'll be doing another IUI w/Femara.

QOTW: we aren't doing anything this year for the Super Bowl. We usually watch the game with DH's family, but after this IUI fail and freaking out about how we're going to afford IVF, I'm in no mood to do anything but lay in bed all day, which is precisely what I'm doing.

The only change for me this cycle is getting me off clomid and onto Femera. My lining was on the low end of normal with clomid. I have my 11 day us next Wednesday and if all goes well will trigger with an IUI next Friday.

DH and I are not big sports fans, we are bigger fans of the puppybowl! We are heading to a local bar to watch part of the game and hang out.

Still benched, but I have my SHG and mock transfer on Monday. This benched cycle is blazing along. I actually cannot believe I'll be starting BCPs in just a couple of weeks. QOTW: we are still enjoying the final hours of the Ravens being the SB champs! Headed to a friend's house tonight, but mainly just to get out of the house. I made taco dip and I think it might be my dinner!

Diagnosis change: Now PCOS and no bicornuate uterus and no more 3cm cyst.

I am currently 9DPO in a surprise 2WW and if a miracle doesn't happen I will start 2.5 mg of Femara on CD 3 of my next cycle.

QOTW: DH and I just ordered some wings to be picked up at 4:30 and we are buying some chips and dip then we are going to sit on the couch and watch the game together. We don't really care who wins...we watch for the commercials.

Still Benched... but hopefully this is the only cycle. We got the OK to do CD3 Blood work and ultrasound next cycle so I'm hoping my TSH will be below 2.5! I think I'm going to ovulate in the couple of days so we're still TI but nothing else.

Qotw: We don't watch the super bowl. We prefer watching hockey (can u tell I'm Canadian? Lol)

On Thursday I had my follow up appointment with my RE for my diagnosis. I have been given the dreaded unexplained infertility diagnosis. They also said that my AMH is lower than they like to see for a woman of my age. I have to be revaccinated for rubella so we are on the bench for at least a month before starting treatment. They didn't really give us a plan, they suggested clomid with TI or IUI. I still haven't decided but I think we will go with the IUI. We have a bit of time before we have to decide. It's nice to finally have a diagnosis but at the same time it's super frustrating to be unexplained.

Going in for U/S Wednesday, FX for good follies and trigger! IUI #3 has been hell (emotionally) and not looking forward to the 2ww but trying to keep chin up and stay positive. Good look everyone and hoping for sticky babies!!!

It's looking as if IUI#1 was a bust; I had a negative HPT on Friday at 10dpiui and am getting some very faint spotting so AF should be here tomorrow. We'll probably try on our own this cycle unfortunately, because a work conflict right when I'd probably be ovulating will prevent me from getting to the RE. So, probably IUI#2 in March unless we get a freak BFP on our own. QOTW: Well, since it's starting like, NOW, and I'm still at home with DH, I guess we'll watch it here by ourselves

Ky could you please update me to injects plus IUI? I'm on CD4 and did my first gonal f shot last night.

I'm a huge Ravens fan so I had my fun last year! H and I are home watching the game and doing other stuff around the house.

No update, I'm still benched. I'm not temping this cycle, but using OPKs (today is CD14 so if my ovaries were working I figured I'd ovulate soon) and didn't even get a faint second line... stupid ovaries.

QOTW: I didn't even watch the Super Bowl... we don't have cable and it's been crazy at work so I sort of forgot it was happening.

Hi Ladies! Waiting on Beta results today from IVF #1. I thought the 14 days post IUI were bad, having to wait 19 days from ER is almost killing me.

QOTW: I really don't watch much sports. So, between a general disinterest in football and the exhaustion from the progesterone, I watched the puppy bowl for a bit and went to bed early.

AFM, I am on day 7 on injects, stopped stims today but did the lupron. I have a 19 & 17 and a couple smaller 14s. Expecting to trigger tomorrow and then B2B IUIs on Wed & Thurs.

So iui #1 was a bust so on to iui #2. i think our iui was done too early and i ovulated the next day so hopefully we have better timing this cycle, i might ask for a trigger shot to know exactly when to do my iui.

For the Super Bowl we hosted a party for some of our friends at our house and of course it was awesome, my team won (go hawks!!!) and the red hot chili peppers were great.

Went in today for my follow up.... I have to have a Hysteroscopy on 2/13/14 (so much for Valentine's Day lovin'). I've had two laproscopic procedures before for endometriosis ... this should be easier than a lap, right? Doc is investigating a filling defect and said he'd clean me out if there is anything that needs to be removed.

Any word on what to expect? Pain? Can I go back to work the day after?

I was on second round of 50 mg Clomid from cd3-7 this month. At first ultrasound all follicles were really small. Second ultrasound a few days later there were two around 12mm, still small but the doctor thought that I would ovulate. OPK was positive on cd23, pretty late. Yesterday was 13dpo and I had spotting and called the RE to see him tomorrow for another round of Clomid. But today no spotting, no period. So I'm confused, trying not to get my hopes up and just wait and see if AF shows up in full force tomorrow.
