fashionably late?? -Intro

I feel like I am arriving very late to the party but I hope I am still welcomed. I found this board after multiple Dr Google searches (for random tidbits I know to call my ped if there is any true concern) lead me to other birth month boards and then I came across this board. I have been stalking you ladies for a few weeks now reading through many of the posts and there had been many times I felt like I could contribute my experiences so I signed up and finally got approved as a member so I can now post and join in with you gals :)

A little about me and my LO. I am a FTM due date was 12/20. My daughter was born 12/23 7lbs 10oz via c section after a VERY long induction. Mini Birth story- My blood pressure was rising toward the end of my pregnancy. My doc decided he wanted to induce me and asked me to come in on 12/22 at 7pm. They used cervadil and then pitocin. I started pushing which I tried to do for 4+ hours and she wasn't making any progress down so we decided to go for a c section...then the fun happened, there was another lady ahead of me waiting for a c section, the only OR  in our small hospital that was currently taken by a appendectomy that was suppose to be an hour ended being 4 hours. So i had to wait my turn which was at 10:30pm (don't feel to bad for me because there was yet ANOTHER mom after me for a c section). 

 I started breastfeeding and did so for the first 2 weeks. I found it very stressful as I was always worried about how much she was getting and always tired and very cranky. My DH suggested that I break out my pump so that he could help take over one of the night feedings. We started with just pumping and doing a bottle for a few feedings a day and it has since progressed that I am exclusively pumping. This is one thing that intrigued me with this board is how many of you are pumping. I feel like i always have to explain myself and how i don't really fit in with many moms.
