Welp, now I know the "average length of an American male...." 
When I google 5.6 inches it's the only thing that comes up. hahahaha

    BFP#2 7/3/13.  U/S at 6w4d showed 1 heartbeat at 127 bmp and 2 empty sacs.  MMC discovered at 10w4d.  D&C 8/27/13.  Pathology showed normal boy.  Missing our babies every day.
    BFP#3 10/29/13!  Beta#1 at 4w5d - 2141, beta#2 at 5w1d - 7651!  U/S 11/21/13 showed baby measuring 2 days ahead with a heartbeat of 127 bmp!

    I wonder once we start measuring from head to toe at week 21 if the "wedding tackle" size references will decrease in the search.  Good luck searching 10.5 inches! :)

    Currently they are measured crown to rump because the legs haven't straightened out yet.

    Thank you for clarifying that, @kmawb and @Jesse835235!  I was wondering why my weekly baby-tracker email was saying "from head to rump."  I kept thinking wait, what about baby's legs?  So they change the measurement at week 21, and our little ones will suddenly be longer?  Cool.

    Newborns are head to toe...err, heel. Well, as best they can stretch them out that is.
