I'm looking out the window as I feed DD and watching more snow fall. I'm in OK and we have had an unusual amount of snow lately. I don't mind bc I'm home but it would suck if I wasn't bc they keep closing DS's school. Is it snowing where you are?
Not right at the moment, but we have 8 inches on the ground in metro detroit. Plus the plow keeps knocking our mail box off and pushed a giant pile of snow against it right after DH shoveled so they refuse to deliver our mail, yeah I'm over it.
Not today but school/daycare was out because of the snow Monday and Wednesday (CT) and two hour delay this morning. Luckily my DH and I can both work from home because this winter has been annoying with all the closings.
Not sure if you want to hear this but it is 75 degrees here in south Florida! Raining and yucky out. We should get some of the cold front soon and temps will probably be in the 40-50's. Brrr! Cold!!!
Stay warm and SAFE everyone!!

Also in Chicago and no snow today but thankful for that. Here's what our backyard looks like with the snowbank DH has made with the snowblower over the last couple weeks. I hope it all melts slowly over time or our basement will probably flood this spring if it melts all at once
We got about 6 inches of snow yesterday, and now will have a break until Sunday when they say we will get a couple more inches. I'm so glad we bought a snow blower for this year, I couldn't imagine shoveling for hours while looking after these kids.

Thankfully, no. School was cancelled twice this week and had a delayed start the other two days. The snow days are killing me! We already will be going until June 20. Any more snow days, and they are going to start taking away from spring break which is not good. So sick of winter.
It snowed last night, and DS got a snow day today. Thank goodness - I did NOT want to get out and drive in the blowing snow this morning to take him to school. I think we have one more round coming in tonight or tomorrow night, then winter should give us a break for a little while [even though it will be ridiculously cold for this part of the woods].
I'm in Maine - no snow today, but we got over 6 inches yesterday. My school got a snow day yesterday - yay for me since I'm now digging into unpaid time on my maternity leave!
No snow today but we still have no power from the last storm. Power went out yesterday morning and they are projecting it may be out as long as Monday. FML! Have I mentioned it was 17 degrees last night?
@bensmommy518 I feel for you. How miserable. Stay safe.
Thanks! Luckily we have a small generator to keep that will run either the heater or the fridge and freezer so we wont loose all our food and by switching back and forth we are able to keep it a decent temp inside. It just really is annoing how often our power has been out the last few year between hurricane Sandy and other extreme weather.
Re: Is it snowing there?
My cat can read EKGs, can your human do that?
