MIL....really?

I love my MIL. She has always been so kind to us BUT I have never wanted to let loose on her so much until this morning.

H has the day off, which means he gets to sleep in, AND I don't have to take the girls to daycare so I get to sleep in an extra hour....YAY!

Or so I thought, MIL give mine and H's phone a ring this morning when my alarm usually goes off, for what reason I still have no idea, but neither of us heard it.

So what does MIL do? DRIVES TO OUR HOUSE AND RINGS THE DAMN DOORBELL AND LEAVES! I called her back and asked if she needed anything and she says, "you didn't answer and all the lights were off and didn't want you guys to be late"

Nice. Well, everybody is up now. Nobody got to sleep in. And it's 7am and I'm already cranky. Ugh. I get she was trying to be nice but come on....we're adults. Adults who have never been late to any function. EVER. Especially work.

I mean she was trying to be nice, so I would try not to be too angry... but that's just bizarre. Does she normally call your phones in the morning? It seems odd that she would feel the need to make sure you guys are awake for work when you are grown adults. And to drive all the way to your house seems a little... loco.
