The Deed...

I'm back to report! We did not do the deed last night like I thought we would cause LO wouldn't go to sleep until after 11:00 and by then we were both exhausted. BUT I did have 2 glasses of my delicious wine so all was good.
Tonight however, LO fell asleep on the car ride home from the in-laws, so we left him in his car seat sleeping so we could mess around. Does that make me a bad mom?! Lol oh well!
I got an "Austrailian Kiss" from him (thanks @Cash) and then we went for it. It really didn't hurt much. I felt little twinges of pain a few times but nothing I couldn't handle. DH stopped after like a minute though and said "are you stitches still in?" Apparently he was getting poked which I'm assuming is the string from my IUD

so we tried it doggie style and he said that was better. Good enough for him to finish anyway. Lol
So that's how it went down for you ladies that have any interest!

Oh, gotcha. I just got mine in Friday so I think I'm going to go back in before the next one. DH is saying now that he hurts from it. Lol Poor baby!

Thread jack--for those still feeling pain, astroglide works SO much better than KY. Seriously, it was a night and day change when dh added the astroglide lube. If he puts some on, and it still hurts, have him put more on and try one more time if you can. Seriously, it made me love sex again. Lol!

I just told SO this and he is laughing at me saying I sound old. I don't even know what astroglide is. He said it is what old people use. I told him I don't care if it is made from old people--- if it makes me love sex again, I want ALL the astroglide!

If he doesn't want to be old, try Wet. It's pretty spendy, but it takes a lot less than ky and astroglide to get the job done. And there's a cooling one. Yeah get that one

I had the IUD put in Friday but H still pulled out.

My MW told me to use olive oil, it's super healing and also feels good.

Mine DH also said he could feel the strings

Has anyone used preseed post baby? I bought some when we were ttc and I would rather not buy a different lube if I don't have to. @whitterpow I am definitely nervous to DTD. We've talked about it and got the green light from my MW. I am hoping this weekend to go for it. LO will be 8 weeks on Sat.

Bummer about the IUD strings... if you get them cut, don't let them cut too short because then it gets pokier. XH refused to have sex with me after DS2 when the OB cut the strings a little too short. They will relax and tuck away after a bit. I was super nervous the first time SO and I dtd after my IUD was put in but he didn't feel them one bit, thankfully.

Not for me. It is absolutely horrible. Very painful. I'm only continuing to do it to hope it gets better and so SO will STFU about it. hahaha

Well... I don't cry or anything. We did have to stop once (in the shower, the water involvement ruins the lube) I try to make my moans of pain into sexy moans so he will be done faster. Hahaha. The initial penetration is the worst... after that it is just moderately painful. I go through it because I heard the more you do it the better it gets!!!!

The first time we tried, I cried it hurt so bad(using astroglide gel) then I mad DF go buy something different, he decided a cooling one would some how make me not cry, well he was right. It numbs where it's sore. Kind of like bio freeze for your vag.
