So I volunteer with a teenage youth group, and every year around Valentine's day we have a girl's "Sweet Times" sleep over where we have lots of good girl talk and tons of delicious desserts. This year the activity portion of the evening is going to be spa themed, and I'm in charge of the specific activities. I've been scouring Pinterest, and there are 1000's of fun ideas, but I was wondering if you all had any tried and true DIY "spa-type" recipes that you recommend. I'm thinking we'll do something for facials, something for mani/pedis, and maybe a foot soak or body scrub of some sort? Plus I'd like a little something for them to take home--at this point I'm thinking some nail polish. Any suggestions of things you've tried and loved?

Now, this is a fun idea from beauty school. Do a make your own mask bar. You get different ingredients or recipes for masks and what they are for. So Avocado mask for moisture, yogurt and banana mask, ect. Make your mask and do facials. It's fun and easy. You can probably find a bunch of great masks for moisturizing and acne prone/oily skin online. Make a nice sheet of the recipes and have the ingredients ready.
Mani/pedi's are a cute idea. Doing a spa pedicure is always fun. I prefer OPI line for pedi;s. It have the soak, scrub, massage, mask, and lotion.
Paraffin dips are always fun as well. It requires the paraffin warmer and salon grade paraffin, but you just cannot beat a paraffin foot or hand dip. It's fabulous.
Scalp treatments are fun too. You do a scalp massage and get a deep conditioning treatment. We used to do these for funsies in beauty school. The massage oils smell great and you can use coconut oil for the moisturizing treatment or salon grade cholesterol.
For take home treats doing nail polish and maybe some sugar scrub would be good. You can even get those tiny sample size things of like argon oil or keratin treatments from Sally's to throw in as well.
