2 month shot? Probiotics? Both?

DD received 3 shots today, the rotavirus vaccine, and we started her on probiotics today. All given at the doctors today around 10. For the last hour she goes from wimpering and grunting to crying every few minutes. She won't even nurse. She just seems so uncomfortable. Would the probiotics do this? Any one else's LO have this reaction to the vaccines? Neither of my boys did so it certainly isn't normal to me. Phew, she fell asleep on my shoulder just now. Poor baby......

Have you tried Tylenol? My LO was whimpering after hers and I figured she was in pain at the injection site...it seemed to help her a lot.

We've only used probiotics a couple times so sorry, no advice there!

I was thinking about Tylenol but if it is the probiotics or rotavirus liquid giving her gas and a tu my ache I wasn't sure adding tylenol to the mixture would make it better, maybe worse..... Would you try it anyway?

I would guess shots. We just started probiotics and didn't have any problems. Give her tylenol, injection sight pain and low grade fever are common after shots. My kids usually slept most of the day after shots and tylenol.

We've done both and had no reaction like that. I would try some Tylenol. Not that it helps now, but our doctor stressed not changing anything in his routine {feeding, meds, sleep, etc.} around the time of his shots.

My LO had her 2 month today. She is acting the same way, I gave her some tylenol and pumped some milk so she could take it from a bottle and not have to work so hard. She is now soundly sleeping.
