We had our first day at daycare! Update

They have been sleeping on the cots! Two hour naps both today and yesterday. Buuuutttt, now Kaylin has a cold. I knew they'd get sick when they started daycare, but after only 3 days? Geesh! :) We're building our immune systems!

Just a report on their first day and a question for you guys... 

She said they were good all day but refused to nap on the cots. I'm not surprised about the nap refusal because they've never napped anywhere besides a crib or pack n play. Do your kids nap on cots? Do you think they're too young? I'm going to let her try to make the cots work, but if it doesn't get better I might ask her to set up the pnps. Otherwise, the girls walked in like they owned the place and had a blast! I'm really glad they love it. :)

    Sounds like they had a great day! Wesley sleeps on a cot at daycare now but he started in a crib and they slowly transitioned him to a cot about a month ago. Can she have them sleep in the pnp and then slowly move to the cot?

    I thought no way either of my kids would when they transitioned to the ones room but they both took to the cots right away!

    Sayer sleeps in a cot.  They transitioned him from a crib when he moved up to the toddler room.  So glad they had a good first day!

    yay! My DC does PnP for most of the toddlers, so that's what he's in... it seems like they kind of get used to whatever the DC uses though normally.
