Special gift for big brother to be

My mom was telling me recently that I should have a special gift for my son when our daughter arrives in 6 weeks. I'm just curious if anyone else has done this and what kind of gift they gave their first child. My son is 4 1/2 and isn't into any one specific thing at the moment, which has left me stumped at this point. Thanks!

We got DD some books from DS when he was born. That way, she had something to do when she came to visit us at the hospital. One had Mickey Mouse Clubhouse figurines in it, another had magnet pieces to play with and the third was a seek and find book. She loved them and it kept her occupied while everyone else was able to check out baby.

We're getting our 5 year old daughter something too, but haven't figured out what yet. Books are a great idea. My daughter is really into coloring and anything artsy so we have a few options. But yeah, I think it's a great idea to get something for the older sibling.

We got DD (almost 4.5) some art stuff and a movie she's wanted for a while. I figured busy activities were a good idea!

I got a whole tote of things with Big Sister Plastered on it for DD.

Amazon had a lot of awesome things.

DD is just over 3 and I would suggest stuff they can. I got her the Big sister version of this photo album:
