Welcome to the Crazy Train. This is a thread posted daily for any of us who need to get out our frustrations about waiting to O, the 2WW, or vent about our cycles.

If you find yourself checking FF obsessively, MF is getting the best of you, POAS issues, let it out here!

In order for the conductors to be better able to help you, please make sure you either have a FF chart link in your sig, or make sure you post a link. Don't chart? You should consider it, not only will it give you a lot more insight to your cycles, but conductors will be able to answer a lot of your questions just by looking at your chart!

I'll hop on! Although my situation isn't dire, I do indeed pass the "obsessive FF checking" test. I look at it 5+ times a day and squint at it, test out future high temps to see what happens, and stalk others who have published their charts.

CD/DPO: CD 19, DPO 2 (I think)

Signs/Symptoms: an apparently "normal" chart!?!

Explain your Crazy here: Long story short - I had a gorgeous cycle in high school, well controlled cycle on birth control for 10 years, and a crap show of a cycle since coming off birth control over a year and a half ago. But perhaps that is changing post-mc? I'm sort of holding my breath, but my chart is looking like I'll be on track to have a 30 day cycle and I think I ovulated a couple of days ago with really solid signs. We are TTA this cycle and will begin TTC after AF gets here. FX that this cycle stays on track and future cycles will be just as beautiful. As I said, I'm mostly just holding my breath and hoping.

CD/DPO: 27/3 (if you believe FF)

Can I just ______ already?!: Figure out what my deal is...

Signs/Symptoms: Eh.... best to just update in comments...

Explain your Crazy here: FF gave me CHs, but I'm not sure i believe them... my body is just weird this cycle (and I think every other cycle as I've mentioned before). I'm spotting today which I think would be AF gearing up b/c I'm generally 28 day cycle... I realize you all aren't doctors, but you are super smart... any guesses on if I O'd or not? I was supposed to start progesterone this cycle, but don't think I will now b/c of late (if any) O.... My body is making me nuts.

hrmmm honestly? I don't trust FF right now. I would need to see a few more temps to say that you Oed for sure.

Signs/Symptoms: Bitchy... just bitchy.

Explain your Crazy here: AF came today. Which is the exact day that FF said she would. which is fine. I'm in a terrible mood. My questions is why when i put in my flow level, FF seemed totally freaked out. It doesn't give me any predicted O dates for this cycle. Will it after AF is over and i record my last day of flow? Or since i didn't start temping until the 22nd of January, could i have potentially O'd sooner than AF detected?

@mrsg80intn - I am not at all convinced you've O'ed. It's possible, I guess, if your temp stays up, but honestly I am not at all convinced. Keep temping though. Have you considered using OPKs? Also, did you end up talking to your dr about the progesterone? Just wondering!

@pregmama24 - we can't see what FF has predicted for you in your calendar, only you can see that. If this is only your 2nd cycle temping, it probably doesn't know yet. It has to "get to know you". Also, like I said in an old CT I think, I don't think you O'ed this last cycle.

I can't see anything that FF has predicted either because i don't think it has predicted anything yet. If i possibly did not O, should i wait until after this cycle to see if anything changes, or should i contact my OB and discuss some things? 32 days/cycle is my normal. Even before my loss. So if AF is back to normal, is it still normal not to O for a while after a loss. I have never had problems with anything prior to the miscarriage.

@pregmama24 - When was your loss? Regardless, I would not go running to the dr after 1/2 cycle of temping. You also could've O'ed before you started temping, and all your temps are post-O. I'm just saying you really have no idea. If, after a few cycles of following the temping rules, you aren't seeing signs of O, I think you can talk to your dr then.

Oh, yeah. I don't think you ovulated last cycle either and, if you did, I'd bump it back by a day to CD24. But, more likely, given AF's arrival date, no O with the temps you included. Another thought: as @redtwizzlers said, you could have O'd before you started temping or with your early temps. An O date on CD19 or CD21 is perfectly possible with an AF date of CD33. FF just wouldn't have enough data to correctly predict that O date, then.

Where you charting prior to Dec? That's as far as FF shows me for your charts. If not, then FF doesn't have enough data to predict fertile days in advance yet. Keep at it, and it will!

And, finally, things can be really wonky after loss, so I think you should give it another cycle or two (at least) before calling your doctor.

Just really posting to say hello. I'm just rolling along until my body decides to get in gear. I'm willing to wait just a little while longer, then I'm going to call my gyn's office and apnea to someone other than my regular doctor. I think she has given up on me.

If you need a giggle here is my link to my ff chart. I started late in the cycle and ff is trying to say I ovulated cd45 then I think it changed this morning to cd47...poor thing is all confused since I started late in cycle.

@Redtwizzlers - I'm not convinced either... I had previously used OPKs many moons ago including one of those crazy expensive monitors, but DH thought adding them in now would be too much. (He actually hates FF for making me doubt my cycles whereas I think it's helping me learn) I may go back to them, but I never could seem to turn a WONDFO OPK back when I used them --- perhaps because i used FMU. I didn't call the doc about the progesterone mostly because he was so adamant about my taking it at CD18 I didn't want to feel bad for not taking it. Wrong approach I know... UGH!

Crazy level from 1-10: 27 (on this one topic only)

Can I just ___have a DX please already?!:

Signs/Symptoms: see below

Explain your Crazy here: yesterday, I suddenly passed, and felt myself pass, a large clot (enough that my tampon failed - which has never happened to me before). I also do not normally feel stuff pass - only during my losses. To say it instantly got my attention would be an understatement.

Now, I'm trying to figure out what is going on. I had some weird, sharp pains at the end of last cycle so maybe a cyst? I've have had cysts before and never had this happen so I'm not too sure about that one. Maybe my endo, but, again, this would be totally new.

Of course I am old so it may just be hard core wonky hormones plus a changing cycle due to age. Which makes me want to throw up because those type of changes are not a good sign for contuing fertility.

Ugh. Any ideas?

Thanks Red.... If I did it was the first part of January. I'm swaying towards anovlitory. I keep having left sided pain and I'm even wondering if I have a cyst on my left ovary.
