15 month appointment

I'm curious to know what did your pedi ask you at the 15 month appointment?
All mine asked was is she in daycare, eating good? sleeping good?
Nothing has been out of the ordinary with Ashley so I am wondering if appointments just get quicker with less questions unless I bring any up myself?!

Re: 15 month appointment

  • Ounces of milk per day, servings of fruits and veggies, rear facing, hours of sleep, and number of words. That's all I can remember right now.

  • Is she saying at least 4 or 5 words? Is she eating a variety of foods? That's all I can remember right now.

  • How many words, walking/bearing weight on legs, how much milk, wet & dirty diaper, STTN (or waking to eat), and did height/weight/head circumference. Then shots. She got 4, including her flu shot.

  • Does she say 3-6 words, throw a ball, crawl up stairs, walking, pick up food with 2 fingers, sleeping, food, milk, describe her mood picking 2 words from a list of choices. I think that was all, we just went yesterday. I asked about vitamins and if she should see a dentist both answers were if I wanted to I could.

  • The past 2 times they have also been trying to do a vision spot test and the lady who is trying to do it annoys the heck out of me she keeps doing it wrong. I watching it tell her she is wrong on the screen. It pissed Emma of both times then she screams when the dr comes in because she is annoyed.

  • Okay thanks girls for all your input.
@chricast is it standard for your pedi to do a vision test?
@ck2md thanks for posting the autism questionnaire.
  • @chrisg83 Yes apparently it is, it is an early detection screening. They use this hand held monitor that looks like a camera, the baby is supposed to look into it without moving or blinking, it is supposed to detect any eye problems. https://www.spotvisionscreening.com/2013/

  • Alice's pedi sent her for a free screening at a vision clinic at about 9m.

  • Interesting I guess we will see if they do the vision test at the 18 month appointment.
