Hi ladies! I have not been on the bump in awhile and have never posted on this board but I find myself in need of some advice. Last week I had my ER and then on Sunday had my 3 day transfer. During my transfer they noted that my ovaries are still enlarged which I know is to be expected. My question is for those of you who have been through an ER if there were any "tricks" to assisting your ovaries back into normal size. Also just wondering how long after your ER until you felt "normal" again (by this I mean when will I no longer feel like I have 2 giant oranges attached to my uterus)!!! Any help you have would be great! If it matter I had 22 eggs retrieved last Thursday and my transfer on Sunday...TIA!!

My nurse said that Gatorade (or similar sport drink) and protein were most important. So, I drank at least a quart of Gatorade and three protein drinks (high protein ensure) each day. We had also picked up some beef jerky for me to munch on as I felt up to eating. Each day, it got a little better and less painful.
