Re: ~~~ Pact Grads Check In ~~~

  • Nothing new here. GTT is tomorrow morning. I'm having really bad pelvic pain, and my nurses line is worthless. So hopefully the NP can help me tomorrow. For now I'm living on the yoga ball and doing cat and cow.
Mh favorite thing is feeling LO move! My least favorite is the discomfort, including heartburn, dang it!

  • I'm grumbling about going to my mandatory "class" tomorrow about the practice's policies, what's safe/unsafe, etc. I don't understand why that just can't hand me a packet or something. Plus it's at the office that's further away, and they specifically said no kids. So I had to find yet another babysitter in the middle of wrestling season (DH coaches). And it's supposed to snow tonight/tomorrow morning. I just feel like it's a giant waste of time and hassle.

Fave- I'll second the no AF.

Least- right now it's the fatigue (but that could be DS too) and peeing all the time.
  • Hm...nothing new, really.

Favorite part: getting a baby at the end.

Least: Being so freaking exhausted the whole entire time!

  • 7 weeks 2 days

Feeling barfy on and off all day, sucks. I usually take a nap around 5 when Logan does.

Since I'm so early, the only enjoyable thing is my sex drive and no period. Yay! Oh, and naughty dreams!

  • Yay @hecklet !!

I have my anatomy scan next week, and I have absolutely no ability to handle curiosity, so I'm pretty pumped to get a gender. On a related note, I've been online window shopping for all the cute girly things just in case (we're pretty set for a boy since both our babies are summer babies and I don't get rid of anything ;) ).

Best part so far has been feeling the tiny and knowing that G is going to be a big brother.

Worst part is the heartburn!! Since basically week 3 I've had the worst heartburn :/

  • I'm not going to the class today. Not worth going out on the roads. So now I get to whine about it next week.
  • I just realized I haven't felt nauseated in a while. Woohoo! I feel like I switched over to mat pants really early, but rocking a giant muffin top in regular jeans just made me depressed. Now at least I have some semblance of a real bump.

Favorite: I'm with SAK...pulling out the NB fluff was a lot of fun. I organized it all and have a much better idea of what else I will need to actually diaper from the early days this time. Oh, and trying to explain the "there's a baby in momma's belly" thing has been a hoot. Most of the time he points to his own belly button and says, "Baby!"

Least Favorite: Trying to get laundry down the stairs has become harder than ever, and I don't anticipate it getting any easier. I could really go for a laundry chute right about now.

  • Thanks everyone! Trying to hold off on the urge to buy more diapers since I already have quite a stash built up....
  • I'm trying to wait also! I'm hoping for a girl and I want some obnoxious girly diapers! I have a feeling it's a boy though.

  • @unaveragejane E points at her belly button too when asked where the baby is! Too cute!
About the laundry, can you do like I do and tie a rope around the handle and slide the basket down in front of you?

  • @TJ1979 - I'm afraid that might scratch up the stairs. (DH installed them himself, and he's rather protective of them.) I've done better this week about getting DH to take it up and down the stairs for me when he's home. I just have to keep reminding him. For some reason seeing a basket randomly in the hallway or foyer does not clue him in to "this needs to go somewhere."

Ah, mine are carpeted. Well keep on his ass, give a few good looks. You'll get him trained soon enough.
