High Chair Recommendations?

I'm starting to look at high chairs and there are so many of them. I would like to hear what others are using - what's worked and what hasn't? Do you have a high chair at home and a portable one that you take out and about with you? TIA

We have the Fisher Price space saver high chair. I like it because it doesn't take up any space in the kitchen since they attach to the chairs we already have.

We have Oxo Sprout chairs, which are on the pricey side, but really nice. I like they way they look and compared to other chairs, they are pretty easy to clean. I do have to use a toothpick in the little cracks and crevices, but it's not a huge deal. You can also order replacement cushions if they get too nasty. The tray is also super easy to remove with one hand, which was important to us since I always seem to have one baby in my arms. They do convert into booster chairs, so I anticipate having them around for awhile.

I was debated between the Stokke high chair and the Oxo sprout high chair, and ultimately went with the sprout. Since I did not start solids until LO could sit up unassisted, I did not need a chair that could recline. I also liked that these 2 chairs grow with LO and convert to toddler chairs.

I like the sprout because the tray and infant feeding set come with the chair. Also, it is compact and is easy to clean up. You cannot put the try under running water, which is a negative for some, but it wipes clean very easily, so to me that is no big deal.

I did not go with a space saver chair because we have very little space around our table and so a stand alone small high chair actually works better in our small space. I also have used space saver chairs and I hate that I have to clean the high chair and then the chair underneath with each use. it seems a lot easier to clean the floor afterwards.

For travel, we use a brica folding booster. It is really handy when there is no high chair available.

We have two space savers and one summer infant 3 stage super seat. I love the ss it is very well made and LO is tiny so she needs the big wedge between her legs to keep her in there. The tray goes in the dishwasher and the seat reclines etc.

LO loves the si I hate it because when she is eating she can turn and put food all over the toys so its hard to clean. Also the tray can be a pain to twist on. If you were gonna use it as a bumbo type thing it would be perfect for that.

We keep a chair at our house my parents and my grandparents.

LO thinks she is an adult and deserves a seat at each table:)

We have DS's huge high chair that converts to a booster and also the FP space saver. Love the FP space saver! It is just as good as the big high chair, also converts to a booster, and takes up no extra space.

I have 2. The IKEA highchair is great when LO is smaller, very compact and only $20. A real deal and used all the time. I also have a wooden Eddie Bauer highchair but I still feel it is too big for LO and he is 8 months old. Better for a toddler IMO. IKEA all the way!!!

We have the Graco blossom for home. We really like it, but it's kinda overkill, especially since we did did BLW.

We use this for outings, https://philandteds.com/us/Products/Feed/Lobster#.Uu2ynGS9Kc1 , and we love it! It's so secure and we feel much more comfortable with this rather than a restaurant high a hair because A can twist around and climb out of those SO fast and easy. She can't go anywhere in the lobster

We also have the Graco Blossom and love it. The height is adjustable so we can use it at our island or table. And I also like that it's on wheels so I can drag him to the sink after he's done eating. It doesn't fold up or anything and is quite big though.

It also came with a booster seat that the seat can attach to and become like the space saver. Since we don't need that at home, the booster seat stays at my parents so we don't have to pack that when we visit. Its a little extra.

The space savers seem useful without taking up space. I'll have to look into these. Thank you for your help.

IKEA - never would have thought to look there for a high chair and really reasonable- thank you! My LO is 6 months so this might be a good option. Thank you!

We have 3 high chairs at home!

1) IKEA - our day-to-day chair. LOVE it for the ease of cleaning (we did BLW and M smudges food everywhere!), the price, and how compact it is compared to other "regular" high chair.

2) Inglesina fast table chair - probably one of the best travel high chairs out there. Very sturdy but lightweight, clips on to almost every surface. It has one of the highest ratings out there for travel high chairs.

3) FP Healthy Care Booster Seat - similar to the space saver but maybe a bit lighter/smaller? I got it for free and it's handy to have an extra seat at home when we host play dates, so another kiddo can also eat at the table with us.

We have a Graco high chair. It's brown with elephants. We luv it. LO also has a fisher price space saver at my parents which he likes also.

We have the Inglesina Zuma at home and the Phil and Ted's lobster for eating out and grandparents. I wanted a highchair that was attractive as well as functional. We used the reclining feature before LO could sit up well. I put the tray in the dishwasher every day.
