They probably told me when I made the appointment but because this is my third pregnancy I never listen because I'm an old pro at this. Till I remember the last time I did this was nine years ago....you don't need to fast, right?
I think it's just an hour, but I'm not 100% certain. My appointment is first thing in the morning, so I guess I could just skip coffee and have a banana or nothing at all.
I didn't fast on purpose for my 1 hour... I just didn't have anything to eat since lunch (since I went after work) and I remember being so thirsty when I got there that I was excited to have something to drink!! I chugged that thing! Guess it worked too. Since I passed. Phew!
I was asked to fast for 8 hours and go in as soon as I woke up, so my fasting hours were my sleeping hours. While there the technician asked me to drink as little water as possible. I would definitely call.
That's weird I fasted 8 hrs for both 1 hr and 3 hr for all three kids and this is a different dr. Gl
