DH comes home and asks if I had addressed some thank you notes and put LO's clothes away.
Really DH? I had to eat standing up for both meals today.
Anyone else's DH think that we just sit around with a sleepy baby all day that will let us put them down whenever we want?
Re: Where is this magical time DH thinks I have???
Fortunately for me, my husband works from home and sees/hears what I do all day. But that still doesn't stop him from asking me if I've done certain things that there's no possible way I could do. Heck, I can barely go to the bathroom. But really, he's understanding. He just forgets sometimes.
But he did ask me today if he could eat my leftover ribs because I hadn't touched them yet. Um, no. I need two hands to eat them, so I need to not have to be holding the baby. Nice try, though!
And then he says stupid things like: "I'm so tired, I didn't sleep at all last night. I wish I could take naps during the day like you" this was after Nova screamed for three hours straight and I stayed up with her all night so he could sleep. We have since learned that I should NOT have any form of dairy or my angel baby turns into a screaming banshee from hell.
Understanding that I sleep less than he does is another story...

Hahaha that's pure evil! I left DH alone with baby girl all fed and he sent me an SOS text approximately 10 minutes after I left because she started crying... By the time I saw it and called back, she had calmed down- but when I got home he handed her straight to me because he had to do his homework and "couldn't get anything done." He has since stopped asking me 'What I've done today,' upon arriving home from work or school.

I'll AW him for a second just so ppl don't think he's a huge jerk: he makes dinner 5 nights a week, he picks me up sour patch kids anytime he's out without me asking, and he tells me how beautiful I am daily.
He just doesn't think things through a lot if times
