Just need to rant

1 week to the day of my RCS and I get a cold! Every time I cough or sneeze I pee. I feel like baby is going to fall out half the time because he is so low. I'm paranoid about my husband being able to make it back from work if I go I to natural labor before the 11th (he works 2 hours away). On top of all that I've been trying to prepare for my maternity leave both at home and school. My "team" who is now finally worried about the Common Core work that needs to be completed while I'm gone asked for a half day work day so I can fill her in. Here's the thing, I've done ALL the work and tried to explain at our last inservice day and she kept telling me she didn't think it was right. I am one if the most trained in CCSS in my district!!! Thanks for listening to me rant! I needed to get it all off my chest and knew you wonderful ladies would be able to relate:)

    Working on 12 weeks worth of plans with no team teachers. I feel your pain.

    I have 2 other teachers on my team and neither will listen to anything I say. This year is my first in 6th grade teaching language arts. The literature teacher is supposed to be working with me, but has done nothing but criticize the work I've done. After our inservice Wednesday she asked the principal to have work time with me before I leave on Friday. Needless to say we are at about the same place I was because we have changed our "themes" of our modules.
    I lucked out with my sub, he student taught in my building at the beginning of the year. I have him planned until the end of Feb and the first week of March we do our state testing so he really only has 4 weeks to worry about. I have most of the plans as a skeleton for him in LA and then the Science teacher I partner with is taking the lead and he will follow her plans.

    I have the same situation with my sub. I know mine is willing to jump in and do her own thing so that helps me a lot.
