Tingling/numbness in my leg!

I am 38w3d and am experiencing some intermittent "pins and needles"/tingling/numbness in my left leg, on the inside of my shin bone.  I've never experienced this before (pregnant or otherwise).  I've done a little research about sciatic nerve pain in pregnancy but what I'm reading isn't consistent with how I am feeling (i.e. no pain radiating from my back, butt, and back of legs - I've had lower back pain the entire pregnancy but it doesn't come and go like this does and I've had ZERO freaky sensations in my legs).  It's in my left leg only and in the front/inside of my shin bone.  No visible swelling (although I know I'm a little puffy because my shoes are tight).  I don't want to jump the gun and call my OB if it's no big deal...does anyone have any experience with this?  Please share!

    when LO presses on my sciatic nerve, I only feel it in my leg. I don't feel it in my back or butt. if it's still freaking you out, I'd call your doctor. the worst they can do is tell you it's the sciatic nerve.

    I get weird stuff like that all the time...but it definitely makes sense to ask your dr about it if it's new to you.

    FTM - if I'm up on my feet for more than 30 minutes - the top of my right thigh goes numb. Sit down for a bit - it goes away
