Hi ladies...I'm stalking from the March board. I'm a FTM and my due date is March 1, but docs are saying they'll probably want to induce on Feb. 24 because I've recently been put on insulin. I just wanted to vent/rant and maybe get some insight from some of you...
I'm a little over 35 weeks now, and I've had a relatively easy pregnancy up to this point. Never had morning sickness, not too much weight gain, not much pain or discomfort. But now, for the past few days, I can't even walk without serious discomfort in my lower belly/pelvic area. I can't sleep well because my back is throbbing. My fingers and ankles are starting to get swollen. All of this is just suddenly happening. I'd have to say the pain in my pelvic area is the worst of all the side effects right now. Is all this normal? Maybe it's just alarming to me because I've felt great up to this point. Does the occurrence of any or all these things mean baby is ready to come out soon? Or anything like that? Or is this pretty much what I'm going to have to deal with for the next few weeks until they induce? Is there anything I can do to reduce some of this discomfort?
Thoughts? I appreciate anything you can share
