  I posted this morning about being confused by secondary signs of possibly not O'ing yet (temp didn't spike, still feeling what seems like O cramps), but IF I O'd when the office says I did, then I am officially in the 2ww from IUI #4!  I didn't end up doing b2b because RE says I was releasing while I was there.  Here's hoping!!!

  QOTW:  I LOVE to travel....so this is a toughy for me.  I absolutely love the Caribbean and would love my life if I could afford going as much as I want to be there.  Australia would be cool, but I don't think I could handle the flight.  I've always wanted to see Alaska and Hawaii too, but I think Italy would be my dream!

  I'm still in the 2ww for IUI #2... 10 dpo and in that stage where I'm starting to analyze everything!!
  
  QOTW: I would love to go to South Korea. That's our next big trip planned but it'll be probably several years. DH is half Thai so going to Thailand last Nov. was amazing, and I'm half Korean so going there would be the equivalent. (We had a four hour layover there during our trip and it was so weird to be on that side of the world, in that city, and not be able to leave the airport and go places!) Other than that, I am obsessed with NYC and have been there several times but already want to schedule another trip there!!

  January 2013: returned to RE, fibroids grew significantly
  February 2013: second HSG, fibroids pushed on tubes which blocked them somewhat
  March 2013: MRI to determine what type of surgery may be necessary
  July 29, 2013: fibroids (5) removed via robotic laparascopy

  June 11, 2014: consult, approved to move on to IVF because the hydro is not completely blocked therefore allowing fluid to move through slowly rather than backwards
  IVF #1 August 8, 2014 - 3dt of 2 embryos, BFN
  September 17, 2014 - 4th HSG, the right tube is very patent (open!!) dye went straight through this time. Weird!
  October 2, 2014 - started metformin treatment
  November 14, 2014 - blood work, brought A1C down from 5.8 to 5.5
  November 26, 2014 - RE finally back from vaca and reviewed my chart, no more IVFs for rest of calendar year
  December 1, 2014 - Right after Thanksgiving, I called a new clinic and got in right away! Plan for IVF
  December 17, 2014 - ER! 29 retrieved (!!), 16 mature, all 16 fertilized (ICSI)
  IVF #2 December 20, 2014 - 3dt of 3 embryos, BFN

  Hi Ladies...hugs to those that need them!
  
  I'm still having to be in beta hell...numbers are rising but way too low.  Hoping it resolves itself but probably will have to get a methotrexate shot sooner rather than later.  Just ready to resolve this and move on!

  IUI #3 was a fail - had CD2 baseline u/s and bloodwork this morning for IUI #4, small cyst on my right ovary, waiting to hear back from the RE if we'll have to be benched or not, all depends on the bloodwork. If we get the go ahead, I'll be starting Femara tomorrow and will go back to the RE on the 14th for the mid cycle scan. Just how I always envisioned spending my valentines day
  
  My dream vacation would be a European cross country tour! Ireland and Germany are 2 places I have wanted to go foreverrrr!

  I am CD 4 of IUI #3, here's hoping third times the charm and not three stikes you're out!  I started 5mg Femara last night and I have to say my favorite side effect of Femara is that I sleep like a rock, which is rare for me these days.  Test day should be Feb 28th.  

  
  

  DH and I did a lot of traveling before TTC and went to my dream vacations of Australia and Thailand (where he was adopted from).  So, now I'm working on my new dream list which includes Fiji and Tahiti.  This summer will be Alaska so that's exciting!

  cd 1 boo. iui #1 was a bust so on to iui #2. i think i o'd later too because ff said i was at 17dpo yesterday and i don't think i was. so hopefully the timing of my iui will be better this cycle. 

  I love to travel but DH doesn't. but i do have him convinced to go to Ireland and Australia eventually

  Hi everyone.  I'm on CD6 of IUI #5, first round on injects, giving myself my 4th gonal-f shot tonight.  They don't go in as easily as the ovidrel, apparently sticking the needle through the vial lid to draw meds dulls it.  Luckily I have some lidocaine so at least it's not hurting!  I'm going in for bloodwork on Thursday AM and depending on response may start US/BW monitoring on Saturday.

  QOTW Either a few weeks in Bora Bora in an over-water hut, or a month traveling around coastal towns on the Mediterranean- a week in Greece, week in Italy, week in Southern France, and a week in Southern Spain.  Maybe one day!

  still benched. I'm CD 21 and still haven't ovulated I hope I will in the next couple of days. I want this cycle to be done so we can possibly try for IUI # 1 again next cycle, as long as my TSH levels are good.

  
  

  QOTW: I used to say Egypt because of all its history, but with everything that's gone on there the last few years, I wouldn't even try. Now I'd probably say Italy. I know DH wants to go to Saint Lucia, an island in the Caribbean sea.

  3. Test/Beta day? Not sure, as it took longer than expected to get any follie growth last time around.  I'm hoping that things move along more quickly this time, as DH has a trip planned that might be a problem if it takes as long as last time.

  Tough choice!  I love to travel, though I rarely do.  I would be glad to return to Hawaii, Scotland, or Italy, but I would also love to travel the west coast of the US, see Australia & New Zealand, and visit France & Spain.

  Attempted IUI #2 (Menopur injections only cycle) better response on the Menopur then the Follistim combination treatment cycle however my cycle was still canceled due to my eggs not maturing and follicles not growing enough on a high dose of Menopur (Re said I could try a cycle of comid + ovidrel  for an IUI) for my second IUI( praying this works for us)

    Clomid + Ovidrel protocol worked still a BFN as a result

  Attempted cycle  Clomid  + Ovidrel protocol for IUI # 3 (Unable to do this cycle due to a cyst)

  I'm 12dpIUI, way over hopeful and losing touch with reality. This is IUI número uno with super O/injects. I test I two days on Thursday, 2/6. My dream vacation is to an island in the Caribbean. We went to the British Virgin Islands for our honeymoon. I'd like to explore a little closer to home, like maybe the Florida Keys, Bahamas or Lesser Antilles.

  *Husband's count is still very low post wash however after 4+ months on supplements, vitamins, and a healthy lifestyle (aka no beer)  his mobility has doubled! I am very happy for him, small victories!
  

  May 2014-RE wants us to progress to IVF as 3 failed IUI's.

  IVF Seminar meeting on 6/12 & then meeting with RE on 7/9 to come up with our plan for our miracle baby!

  I'm excited as this is the very first time I have been able to join one of these check ins after 13 cycles trying on our own, and a year of two surgeries!! Wishing everyone luck, and congrats to those who get to graduate with BFPs and rising Betas!!!

  That would have to be one of those 3 month long cruises around the world, seeing Asia, the Mediterranean, and Europe. DH and I have always said that our dream retirement would be on that luxury condo cruise ship the ResidenSea.

  katiewest -- I'm 3dpiui too!  Are you as tempted as I am to test on valentine's day!?!  I have tested on 12dpiui EVERY cycle, and have always been disappointed with a BFN, so I actually told myself moving forward I wouldn't do that...sure is tempting!!

  I'm benched for another month while crazy work stuff happens. I've been doing OPKs 2x/day and finally got a second line (I've never seen a second line in 8 months of peeing on them!) although it still wasn't positive. I'm really really hoping I will ovulate on my own...

  12dpo I got a very faint second line on a dollar tree test. Today on 13dpo, it was even lighter (basically not even there unless I'm really squinting) and some brown spotting on the toilet paper all day. Terrible cramps and I'm sure AF will come tomorrow. If she does I will call and insist on a beta just in case.

  This was the first but I'm 99% sure I'm moving on to the 2nd.

  IUI #6 was a BFN. I'm crushed. I thought I could keep going but i'm tired. I'm taking a break from IUI to research IVF and look into my health. If i'm going to move forward with IVF I want to be in the best shape and give it my best shot. 

  Me and DH: 32, TTC since 2/2012

  Dx: lean PCOS, low hormone levels, 2 CP's before seeing RE, MTHFR heterozygous

  IUI #1 with clomid and ovidrel: BFN

  IUI #2 with clomid (unresponsive), femara, ovidrel and novarel: Possible CP

  IUI #3 with femara, ovidrel and novarel: BFN

  IUI #4 with Follistim (115 iu) and ovidrel= BFN, developed OHSS, benched- 2 weeks of birth control pills

  IUI #5 with Follistim (75iu) and ovidrel= BFN........Taking a medication break for a few months

  IUI #6 with Follistim (75iu) every other day, femara and Lupron trigger= BFN

  *Taking a long break to get healthy and research/prepare for IVF*

  First and foremost, my dream vacation would be to Italy! I'm Italian and my husband is as well, I dream of going there and eating all the delicious food! Yum!

  I started getting faint BFPs 12dpiui but they've gradually disappeared. I'm 14dpiui now and BFN, so I'm thinking that it could have been a chemical? Or faulty FRERs?
  
  I'll stop progesterone tomorrow and hopefully AF shows soon so I can start the next cycle. I'm a little hesitant because if this was a chemical I'm worried that with our m/c last cycle that there might be some genetic issues?

  Hey Everybody!

    I had IUI #2 today. It did not go too well. We ran into a lot of complications with my NP trying to get through my cervix. It didn't help she was trying to straighten my uterus too. We went through too many speculas and catheters trying to pierce my cervix. I had some bleeding during the procedure. After about 45 min she was able to barely get the tip of a catheter into my cervix. She didn't sound too optimistic about this IUI. I go back on the 17th for my beta. I do have one positive to share..... I have had less drainage/discharge this time than last time. I hope this is a good sign! I guess it is onto the dreaded 2 week wait!! I guess I will check back in then! Well that is if I can refrain from testing early! Good luck to everyone!!!!

  Waiting at the dr for iui #2 right now! So I will start the 2ww in about five minutes. Testing day should be about 2/21. So many places we want to go... DH and I would love to go back to Ireland. Costa Rica, Australia.... Right now I am dreaming of warm places, it has been way too cold for too long in MN.

  My AF came today 4 days early just to surprise me! Although she isn't welcome, she's here and I'm dealing with it. So on to my next cycle! I have my baseline US on Monday then start meds Monday night for IUI #7. Also have an appointment on Thursday to discuss IVF.

  Me (35) no known issues DH (37) MFI. TTC 21 months (24 cycles)
  Dx MFI with low to normal count, low motility, morphology 3%
  HSG normal, ultrasound and labs on me all normal. 

  1 cycle of Clomid 50mg and TI, unmonitored by OBGYN= BFN
  1 cycle of Clomid 50mg and IUI, unmonitored by OBGYN= BFN
  Started seeing an RE!!
  2 more cycles of clomid 50mg (great response), with IUI and Pregnyl trigger (4.8-8 mil good ones after wash) = all BFN
  1 cycle of clomid 50mg (3-7) followed by Follistim 75iu (7-11) + IUI = BFN
  December 2013 DH saw urologist and is taking Anastrozole, CoQ10, and L-Carnitine
  IUI #5 natural cycle (needed a med break) = BFN
  IUI #6 Follistim 75iu (CD3-10) + Pregnyl (CD11) + IUI (final count after wash 300K) = BFN
  IUI #7 Follistim 75iu (CD3-9) + Pregnyl (CD11) + IUI on 2/20 (post wash count 12.5 million)= BFN
  IUI cancelled (DH OOT) Clomid 50mg (CD3-7) 1 follicle +(not well timed) TI = BFN
  IUI #8 and last one!! Clomid 100mg (CD3-7) +OPK before US + IUI 4/17 (post wash 8.5 mil)= BFN

  Pre-IVF testing complete! SHG great and measurements taken! Labs for infectious diseases completed, FSH (5.4), TSH (1.6), Prolactin (11), AMH (2.6), Estradiol (40).
  

  Started BCP 5/29 and Lupron 6/11 prep for IVF #1! Started follistim 225u/day on 6/28. Monitoring on 7/2 >15 follicles measuring 11-14, E2 758. Monitoring on 7/5 all ready to go!! Great follicle sizes and lining is at 9. Tigger 7/5, ER 7/7 16R 9M 3F. Stimmed too fast in just 7 days. 7/10 3dt of 2 8-cell grade 2 & 4. 7/14 P4 >60.
  Holy crap BFP!!!
  Beta #1 (14dpo) 7/21 112 Beta #2 (16dpo) 7/23 286 a Beta #3 (18dpo) 7/25 761 Beta #4 (21dpo) 2631!!! Hold on tight little embies!!  First Ultrasound 8/7- 1 perfect little bean with a beating heart 117bpm!! EDD 3/30.
