DH and I agreed we'd exchange only handmade gifts/cards/letters/food/treats/etc. for Valentine's Day this year. I have no idea what he's doing for me, and I don't know what to do for him either? Any ideas for me? Links to Pins? Anything would be appreciated. I just can't decide.
A few years ago I made him an awesome scrapbook, but I'd been working on it for months, I don't have time for that now.
I'm thinking about knitting him a hat, but I'm new to knitting and not confident that I could get it done and time and have it look nice enough for him to wear. I don't want to slave away on it just to be unsatisfied with the result, or not even done with it.
And even if it's not handmade, share what you're giving your SO this year!

Re: Handmade gift ideas for hubby?
I made a card by tracing lo's hand (is tree) and cut out tiny pink and red hearts for leaves. Super quick and easy.
1. For DH's bday one year I made this superhero package with all his favorite treats and drinks
https://specialtycakecreations.com/handmade-fathers-day-gift-superhero-care-package/
2. For one Valentines I got a large matted picture frame and wrote reasons I love him all over it
3. This year I am printing the lyrics to our wedding song on vellum and putting it in a dollar store frame.
@HBirdie: Okay I am the GIFT QUEEN. Just a "few" questions:
1. What does he do at his job?
2. Does he play sports?
3. What does he do on Saturday mornings?
4. What does he drive?
5. Does he golf?
6. How long have you been married?

Along the same lines of @adrd47 DH and I have an "I Love You' jar that we used for the first year of our marriage and occasionally now (4 years married). Anyways you get a jar or decroative vase and put a pad of paper (cutsie paper near it) and every time DH did something totes adorable or nice I would write it down and put it in the jar. Then when he wanted to do something our of the ordinary (go on a boys' trip) or he wanted to pick the movie, or he wanted to be "easily forgiven" for something he said I would just pick a piece out of the jar and read it. It would remind me of how nice he's been. At first I thought it was like "keeping tabs" and I was totally against it. But it actually taught me to take a moment when he does something nice and savor it. It also taught me that when he wanted something his way with no arguement I could just give in and it would be fine.
I have other ideas though once you ANSWER MY QUESTIONS!!!!

2. Does he play sports? He's super fit and athletic, but doesn't play any organized sports right now. He likes to play ultimate frisbee and soccer, though.
3. What does he do on Saturday mornings? Gets up early (like 5am)- usually he works (at a job or around the house), sometimes he putters around outside, and sometimes he just watches TV. He's not very good at sitting still.
4. What does he drive? Pickup truck.
5. Does he golf? He has once or twice before, but not in a long time.
6. How long have you been married? A year and a half-ish.

FTM to my sweetpea Miss D.
You could make a salt dough ornament with LO's hand and footprints that say "Hurry Home Daddy" that he can hang from his rear view mirror in his truck...
You could take an old soccer ball and put your LO's foot prints in paint all over the ball and write "#1 Daddy of Year" (little more of a father's day gift but still cute)
How about breakfast in bed? That's always a nice gift when I get it from my DH.

They make the new cell phone accessory of the watch (Verizon I think?) Samsung?
Anything to make his life easier, like a rapid charger for his cell phone or tablet. They typically charge in 1/4 of the time.
A sick alarm clock? One that has a ton of cool features, a docking station, a projector for the time, news radio?
A subscription to Time, The New Yorker, Forbes, awesome magazines!

@kimberlymacrae; Do me!! Do me!! Lol. DH isn't much into sports. Besides UFC. Before we moved to NY he used to get paid big dollars for amateur fights.
He also loves music. Recording and producing especially. That's what he's been doing since he lost his job which is kind of cool.
@pumpkinmommaaa: I don't know much about music but I am thinking a shadow box with a couple CDs (quickly ordered off of Amazon) of music from your first date, a song you first played for LO, etc. UFC is awesome because you can get some pretty awesome gear for next to nothing online. My DH is a big BJ Penn fan (he's from Hawaii like BJ) and he loved when I got him a couple BJ Penn t-shirts.
For UFC I am thinking a homemade coupon (I know the idea has already been brought up) for $75 towards the purchase of the fight of his choice, a killer snack spread (that you will make) and you'll take LO out for 2 hours (or enjoy the fights with him) but so that he can just veg. out during the next fight or the fight of his choice. Maybe print out the upcoming schedule from the UFC website so he can pick a date right then and there? And tell him he can pick any three snacks/grub and you'll prepare it. Hot wings, potato skins, cheesy chili fries, short ribs, burger sliders, buffalo wings, etc. Maybe make a menu and write "circle three, your choice!"
Seriously, three hours of no responsibility, some killer food and a UFC fight... I'm sure he'll dig it!

The UFC night is a good idea. We used to order the fights a lot but the last time we did was on LOs due date. So I think I might do that. Thanks!!!
