I'm headed into the hospital tonight to begin Cervadil, than tomorrow morning will be induced with Pitocin. I'm getting super nervous, but glad my friend will be there with me until I have to get a good nights sleep for tomorrow. I think I'll be happy for the distraction and the company! Gossip magazines and crossword puzzles here we come! DH will be there in the morning and he already got emotional just thinking about meeting our girl coming tomorrow-yay!!&nbsp. Update #1: things got off to a late start last night as there was not a room free until almost 11. Once I was checked in and the Cervadil inserted it was nearly 1am. Took an Ambien but still too anxious to really sleep. This morning I was barely a fingertip dilated. Things started to pick up when my doc inserted a Foley catheter (so awkward-like a vagina balloon animal) and started Pitocin at a 1 (I asked that we go very slow and low with the Pit) I felt contractions almost immediately and from 9am to 12:30 had dilated to 4 cm and thinned out a lot. Pit has been increased again and next check in an hour doc may break my water. I'm resting and updating now as I'm having a much needed break between contractions but those first 3 hours were rough!!!!! I'm going for a natural birth and so far, so good!!
