I voted no. My H is 100% certain that he does NOT want more than 2. As of right now, I want at least 3. However, there is a chance that I could change my mind if two seem overwhelming. Right now, though, the thought of stopping after one more feels heartbreaking to me

I would love more but 2 is all we can support financially. I think we are both on the same page with 2! If we won the lottery we would maybe want more. Then again I love being out of the needy age and am enjoying my sleep again! Maybe in a year I will want another but for now I'm good. DH knows we aren't winning the lottery and is good with 2.
We agree NOW but DH always said "I want 3-4 kids!" He was an only child and I think he wanted a big loud family. I grew up with one sibling (brother) and just always assumed I'd have two kids. So we agreed that we'd AT LEAST have two, and then talk about a third.
After seeing how much work LO is + another one on the way + we're in our late 30s... we've agreed on two. I'll be getting my tubes tied after this c/s to make sure that stays the case. ;-)
I always wanted 6 (I come from a family of 8) but after A was born, phew I was done. However, SO really wants 3 or 4 so I think we can meet in the middle at 2. Maybe 3.
Before kids we said we would stop at 2 if we had a boy but would try for a 3rd if we had two girls first. After this baby I'm lucky he is agreeing to 2. Like @pinottoparenthood said, it makes me sad to think the next one will be the last one. I still think about being a surrogate sometimes.
Before kids, we didn't want any so we agreed then. Time changes everything at some point and he was the first to give in and want kids (maybe biological clock?) he wanted a lot suddenly. It took me a while to give in and we got Connor. He has wanted a second one since Connor was born, I am somewhat starting to get the fever.
If we have another and it is a girl, I will probably be done. Though he wants three. I agree on three if the second is a boy.

This exactly!!!

Before we were married, we agreed on three. He wanted two, I wanted three or four. Now he's talking about maybe only two, which I don't agree with. Especially if we have two boys. I really want my girl!
I always wanted 3 and he wanted 2. Then we had two and happily agreed to be done. So glad we're on the same page!
Hoping this happens with us, too... otherwise, I already know it's going to put a HUGE strain on our marriage.
You never know how either if you will feel after #2- one or both of you could change your minds! Ava was so so SO hard that for a while I thought maybe we would stop at one.

Totally -- James is an EASY baby, and even with how much work he was, DH went from "I want four kids!" to "um, I'd be okay being done..."
If we were younger, and had lots of money to be able to afford things like activities and college for more, we'd maybe have another. But right now, we very much agree that the three we have is it. He's getting snipped in the next few months.
If in the future, if we are in a financial position to support more kids (and I can stop working, or work part-time), we will likely become foster parents to older kids. That is of course a big if.
TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!
Last ditch FET resulted in BFP, and identical twin girls!
I put SS. I always wanted three and my H fluctuated between 2 and 3 but was set with two after our April baby. Then, surprise, I'm pregnant, so three it will be! I am happy and H is on board and happy although he sometimes still gets overwhelmed by the idea of three.
I always said only one and DH wants two. But now that we have our amazing DD I can't imagine not being able to go through it again. So we will try for a second one but not yet. I think he figured it out when I packed up all my maternity wear instead of getting rid of it.

Well now that you packed it up, you'll be knocked up next week. Ha.
