babies in breweries

I know several of you have taken babies (in carriers) to breweries for tastings. Have any of you had somebody say something about having the baby with you? DH and I were going to go with some friends (they also have a 3mo lo) on Saturday. We're planning on wearing babies but DH is concerned about not being let in.

We took LO to the tasting room at a brewery and no one said anything to us. When I was pregnant we visited another local brewery and there were two families with kids there. I don't think you should worry about it.

We went to a few breweries when DS was younger and I wore him. No one even looked at us funny.

Ok, thanks ladies. I'm not concerned about other people saying something. Just concerned about them not letting us in to the tasting room at all since it'll be a 45 minute drive to get there. I've never seen any kids in the breweries that we go to (just dogs). A few that we're looking to go to specifically say 21 and older on the website, I might just call on my lunch break.

Why wouldn't you be let in? Personally, I wouldn't care what anyone else thought or said. It's their problem, not mine.

Several breweries and wine tastings with my kids. Only had a problem once at a specialty home brewing store, dd was about 15 mos, they told us she couldn't go in (they let us in before when she was 3ish mos). I just waited outside, not worth a fight.

@beernifer - SunKing ... maybe a few others, Fountain Square Brewing, Triton and maybe Indiana City Brewing

We've been to them all several times before. I think the only one we'd have a problem with is SunKing because of the way they are set up.

I would just call ahead to relieve the stress of not knowing.

We have gone to a ton of breweries and wineries and have only had issues at one winery.

it serves food? and won't allow people under 21? that's ridiculous. if my 3.5 month old can find a fake ID good enough to get her a beer, she deserves it.

Sorry, searched all the bump boards to find Asheville moms and stumbled onto this post. I'm from Olympia and have seen kids of all ages at Fish Tale. You're totally fine to bring your LO to that bar/pub.
