New to Omaha

My husband and I moved to Omaha in April and I gave birth to our 1st child (Eleanor) in June. I was wondering if anybody had suggestions for things to do with a little one in the community? I need to get out and meet people :)

  • If you like outdoor activities there is a local group for family camping activities. You might also look on Meet Up website. I've found some local groups for my interests. Welcome.

  • Omaha's zoo just got voted #1 in the world SO I would suggest a zoo pass and many visits this summer, it never gets old :) I like to go during the week in the morning (it's never too busy and sometimes you can catch the feeding times).

  • I know this is way past your post date, but I just saw this. Have you heard of MOPS (mothers of preschoolers)? It's a great mommy group for those that are expecting up until their last one goes to kindergarten. I highly recommend it.
BabyFruit Ticker 2 previous losses (May 2011 & November 2011)
